Tip #1 is definitely the best! The first thing we did after dropping our stuff in the room was get some burgers and watching the ship sail! Also instead of booking an excursion cause they are kinda expensive for a few hrs. Get a taxi downtown and enjoy the shops and the beach is a walk away! (20$ a taxi round trip)
Kind of. Most of what is in the Freeport port area is owned by Carnival Cruise Line and is closed if there are no Carnival cruise ships in port that day. Margaritaville At Sea has a small group of vendors in their parking lot and you can see the Carnival straw market from the ship, but getting there is not pedestrian friendly. We love Margaritaville At Sea and currently have two more cruises booked with them, but we suggest staying on the ship unless you book an excursion in Freeport. We hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
Yes. They have vegetarian and vegan options. I have linked their current main dining room dinner menus to give you an idea of what you can find onboard. Thanks for watching! margaritavilleatsea.com/fins-day-one-menu margaritavilleatsea.com/fins-day-two-menu
