    Love it! 🧵🪡 💕
My mom sewed my clothes, Mr wedding dress made curtains you name it she made it! Unfortunately I didn’t take on her passion. She tried to reach me. Now, in my older years, I have had this on my heart. To mage an apron! To make myself one and gift her with one! You explained it so very well. Thank you. I think I could do this. I’d have to borrow her sewing machine. She’d probably be so happy! It’s a lost art, I think. Anyhow, never too late! I’m praying this comes to fruition! Thank you! 💞

Thank you for the video, very helpful and I like your calm attitude and the peaceful piano music. I've been planning on making an apron for a while now, but I'd love for mine to have pleats in the front piece. Do you have any advice on that by any chance? Anyways thank you very much.

Thank you for your kind words! To make an apron with pleats in the front, you'd need to cut a wider rectangle for the main front piece (you'd need extra fabric in the front to be able to pleat it). Then you'd gather or pleat the fabric to fit the waistband. This would make a fuller, gathered (or pleated) apron. Hope that helps!

Great tutorial! Can you please redo the video on the pinafore apron? The facing wasn’t clear. And the blog I’m confused. I rather see video.

Thank you! Yes, I hope to make another pinafore apron video in the future that's easier to see each step more clearly and make it easier to understand.

Great tutorial! I can’t wait to make one. You said the fabric is a linen blend ~ What will the description say on the fabric bolt? Can I buy at Joann’s? Thank you.

Thank you! You can use any kind of fabric for this apron. I have one of them in 100% linen and the one I made in this video is a linen/cotton blend. I got my fabric from Amazon (the link is in the video description box), but JoAnn usually carries linen/cotton blend fabric as well. The description on the bolt will usually say something like "linen blend," or it will have a percentage of linen and cotton. Hope that helps, and have fun making your apron!
