An amazing performance. I've just found out Tommy passed away a few years ago. As long as people keep listening to his amazing music, Tommy will never die!
love this tune. had it on my phone ring tone but phones don't last. I need to put it on my new phone. 1970's by the pipkins I was 20 years young. thanks for the memories tommy
WOW! You sure have got it! I loved this SILLY SONG since it first came out. I have my own 45 of it in my collection and I kept my turntable to play all my long LP's too. It's so much fun to listen to it. As for your arm, I'll keep you in my prayers. I'm a 74 year old grandma so I'm old as dirt but I had to have both knees replaced in 1999 and 8 months later I did the 2nd knee. Both were bone on bone. So I know the excruciating pain they can cause. I had several falls after their surgeries so both my rotator cuffs are damaged. I can't lift my arms beyond my head. No strength in either one. Did somebody say these were Our Golden Years???? I'm not sure but my surgeons sure got my money. But they got so much better after the replacement that I was able to clean my own 40 foot long driveway that spanned 3 cars across. By then I was divorced so I had to do my own home maintenance. It felt good to accomplish that on my own. So I wish you lots of luck, take it easy and bring back your piano skills. We need you to lift our spirits. Your new friend SIlvia from the Chicago area.
Tommy, you are such an Inspiration. I've been away from the piano for a few years now but after watching a few of your awesome video's, I ordered a very cool book and a DVD on Boogie Woogie that I can't wait to get into. Can't get enough of your playing. My prayers are with you Tommy for a successful surgery and very speedy recovery. God Bless you for sharing your talents here.
Just want to say our prayers will be with you during your surgery and healing. Also want to say Thank You for ALL your videos and look foward to many more. Terry in Alexis, NC, USA
Hopefully we'll be hearing very soon from you again; All the best with your shoulder. Anyhow: I wish you a Very Happy New Year 2012 and a swift recovery, so that we can enjoy your music again. Henri. Ghent, Belgium.
Hope this one gets posted this time...I know that you have a God given talent and will be back soon!! Many prayers going your way! LOVED this one ...you keep getting better and better. Huryy back...xoxoxo
Great keyboard work as usual! And I will pray for your quick recovery from that surgery. Wow, what will we do without the new stuff? I can listen over and over again luckily. Just take care and God bless you. BOB
I think the original was a novelty song that came out around 1970 but this is an excellent interpretation of it. He plays the key changes so fast its almost like a pianola. Very impressive.
It’s dudes like Tommy here as well as Tom Brier that makes me wanna take up playing ragtime on the piano just for the heck of it. I actually have an old Yamaha electronic keyboard from my high school days in the early Aughts that still works if I can find the power supply, so I’m tempted to make my dream a reality. 😜

Well this wasn’t his song so he will be remembered for his music, it was made in 1970 by the pipkins.
Just found this song in a boxful of 45's yesterday. Can't get the melody out of my head. Thanks for posting.
