    I market it as algicide. Because that’s what we are using it for. To get rid of algae and moss. If they ask if it’s bleach I say “it’s similar to bleach but no it’s not bleach”. Which isn’t a lie. It’s a commercial grade algicide.

  • @ExpertPowerWash

    I use that same pump. Great pump. That plastic will become brittle and break over time. That spout outlet will definitely wear out. FT has another material that’s designed for transferring bleach. I had to talk directly with them to get the parts. It’s a clear white material. You can upgrade the tube and spout. Hope that helps you for when you need to replace the spout when it breaks. Order extras.

    Im a new sub. I juat started soft washing and power washing with sodium hypochlorite this year. Im planning on transferring from window cleaning to all power washing and soft washing next year. Im just making sure i understood. If the seals are tight it wont break down? I was under the impression heat does that automatically. I was told it has to be kept inside in a climate that's cool. Can you clarify or if you have a vid covering it please let me know.

      I have kept mine outside all season and it's worked great. We don't order more then 2 weeks worth at a time so it stays fresh but have used 3 week old SH and it worked but def was not as strong. Good luck with your new business!

    • @RaymondNotario
      @RaymondNotario  3 года назад

      My advice is to avoid it lol I don't like popping gum but when I do, the best thing is hot water and a green tip for me. You can also do it with cold water if you take a torch to the gum before hitting it with the washer. MAP gas works best for me.

    Oops, also, do you keep SH tank sealed tight on truck or vented all the time.

    • @RaymondNotario
      @RaymondNotario  3 года назад

      Hate a leaky gun lol as for sealing the tanks, we make sure our bulk storage is sealed up good but as for the tanks on trucks, the sh is used up in 1-2 days max so no need to have everything sealed plus the tank is vented to prevent expansion and damage.

      @@RaymondNotario No a bulkhead connector at the bed level of the truck to camlock your storage tank pump to going into the truck tank. the pressure washer channel did something like that so he drips sh at the edge of the truck not across the truck to the tank.

    Why can’t we soft wash with our pressure washer. Why an additional pump?

    • @MannyAguilarJr
      @MannyAguilarJr Год назад +1

      Because down streaming maxes at 2.5%, xjet maxes at 3.125% and with a 12v you can get up to the full 12.5% strength. 12 v has lower pressure than what a pressure washer can provide. Soft Washing is about letting the chemical do the work then rinsing off.

    Bleach/consumer bleach: sodium hypochlorite (low percent) + sodium hydroxide + sodium carbonate.
    Industrial "bleach": sodium hypochlorite (high percent). So the technically correct term is Sodium Hypochlorite.
