    I moved here over 20 years ago and since then saw everything being destroyed by the ever growing housing development, etc.

    New Albany was once a quaint, nice little town for ordinary hard working people. Now it is for those with more money than they know what to do with and Les made it Wexnerville and chased the originals out. Well, you heard it, income 200,000$ or more income so they destroyed the area for the generations who loved it to replace it with the snoods.

    Unless you want to live somewhere thats getting overdeveloped with every square inch of land getting buildings on it, don't move here. It's absurd what's going on out here. If you buy a house out here, unless you're in a protected development, you risk them coming along and pushing you out and ripping your house down for some monstrous warehouse. Good luck. Oh, and Easton town center has teeny boppers shooting each other.

    In the 90's we called it Wexley because so many people from Bexley were moving there.

    New Albany was a nice little town but all that will change as population grows. Crime will rise, those schools will be overflowing with large class sizes and traffic will become unbearable. Listing the things that make it great right now is dandy but it does not take into account the very real changes population density will bring.

    • @LivingtheColumbusWay
      @LivingtheColumbusWay  Год назад

      We are gonna have to get more dense in Columbus to avoid the forever sprawl thing. It's going to get way busier out there though that is for sure.

      Absolutely NOTHING. But the rich people left Bexley in the middle of crappy Columbus and came out here and decided to run everyone else out by turning it into their 'industrial manufacturing area.' Annexed townships around them and pushed the locals out to expand their tax base. Even expanding into other COUNTIES.

      @Living the Columbus Way infrastructure is already inadequate, and it's getting worse as the Intel plant moves forward. Inconsiderate, if not incompetent, drivers all over the place. Anymore I call 161 the Highway of Death because of accidents.
