Hi Graeme, I'm quite new to growing and also your videos. Definitely giving someone else a chance to have an allotment is the right way to go. Apparently, waiting lists are huge, so someone is going to have a lovely surprise soon 😊 I only have a kitchen garden, which is plenty enough for me, and I'm also growing flowers next year. I think your pond area sounds very soothing. I'll look forward to seeing that next year.
Graeme, absolutely you have done the right thing. Best to do one thing well rather than two things half heartedly. The bonus is you will be helping someone else get the allotment bug. Keep up the good work. Loving your RUclips videos.
I am so glad that you have made that decision Graham because I think someone else will benefit from that plot going forward. I didn’t comment on the last blog because I didn’t want to be a Debbie downer and make that suggestion but I’m glad that you’ve come to it by yourself.. put all your energy into your beloved plot. It’s hard to make that decision, especially with it being your dad’s, but I do think it is the right decision… well done and goodbye little plot x by the way I wouldn’t put a pond under the trees the roots will eventually impact the liner and the leaves in the pond will be a nightmare. Maybe the area behind the poly tunnel where you put your pumpkins last year would be a better area.
🙏 I’m still not convinced about my fruit tree area and the space at the back of the plot tbh, I deffo want a pond but unsure of the best spot, thanks for that tip 👍
Aww well done Graham 😊 Yay for cut flowers!! Always good to learn something new and your plot will look great too!
Flowers will only help to bring pollinators to your edible plants. Win-win!
Someone is going to be delighted to get that plot. You’ll still be able to see it and maybe get to know the new owner.
Well done Graeme👏 Brilliant decision and good Karma 😊I can recommend Georgie from the Chanel " Common Farm Flowers .
Awesome thanks for the recommendation I’ll check it out! Lots to learn!!
So glad you made that choice, somebody else is going to be made up 😃 Have a super weekend with Sarah and keep smiling Graeme 🤗
Graeme save the earth from the molehill it will be very fine and be brilliant to grow your carrots in.
Ohhh good shout I’ll grab

Hey thanks for the kind words, really enjoying making allotment content so far this autumn 🍂 😊
Feels like the right decision. Quality over quantity.
💯 👍
