Halberstadt and its trams | 4K

The county seat in Saxony-Anhalt is one of the smallest German cities with a tram, and unfortunately this was (and still is) about to be closed. After severe neglect in GDR times, the network was finally renovated after reunification and five new Leoliner NGTW6-H trams have been in use since 2006. Nevertheless, the future of operations is currently only secured until 2033. One more reason to pay a visit to Halberstadt and keep your fingers crossed.
Also in the video: a rare use of a GT4 from 1966 and the most important sights of the city, including the cathedral and other important churches.

I have been to Halberstadt for its small-scale tram network a few times and I really like the place, but I never got to see it from the amazing vantage point of your aerial drone footage! :) Great shots from above and from the side of the trams, creating a really evocative mood and setting, for both the city and its light rail system. Keep up the good work, I have subscribed to your channel!
