The first time I bought something from Shomer Tec was back in 2003 - damn that was a long time ago! But I'll say the stuff they sell usually do work as advertised. The best example would be the sonic nausea, a device that feels downright dubious in nature but really worked.
Anything to deflate the enemy's ego is a bonus. Would be hard to use in self defense before the jury compared to something more common. Ideally, good for agents to disable enemy vehicles in an effort to stop pursuit. Have you tried it out as a mini blowgun to face size targets ala KGB umbrella?
I have not but that’s an awesome idea! My concern is the cross section piece that keeps the handle on… I wonder if you could front load your projectile though 🤔
Can you do a video on your thoughts about the travel wrench? I noticed it on your desk. I've had one for years just have never had to use it. Great video!
If they sharpened the tip more like a body piercing needle it would go through much easier. The rim is sharp on them so they actually cut a plug out like a leather punch does. Rather than just relying on the point & force to push it through.
Mid clavicle 5th intercostal!! Same sound as the tire lol that's a 2 guage!!! Great video. I think it should go with the raptor sheers and suture kit !
Oh heck yeah! I have seen it but hard for me to justify the price and I don’t like the end glass breaker on my thumb Do you enjoy it? Is it comfortable?
@@tacticaltavern bro it’s $80 considering what we spend on blades it’s nothing😭😭😭 The glass breaker can screw off and you just have an open crowned end. Glass breaker doesn’t really get in the way though cuz it’s one of the steel bearing style instead of the pointed style. Never got in the way of me getting to my juice. 😁
This is when the part gets stuck in the lung so that the air can escape from the lung and the lung collapses. This leads to immediate death. That's what the hole is for.
A single collapsed lung does not lead to immediate death. A large part of first aid and medic training deals with that exact type of injury with (makeshift) chest seals with or without one way flutter valves for example.
@@tacticaltavern I believe mid 90s ....a chest rig and acrylic dust. To augment kit issued to Army. Chest rig was for 12ga ammo and distraction devices.

What else do you think this could be used for?

@@tacticaltavern That would be great if you can🏆 I would invest in that. ASAP
Appreciate the discount for the Civivi vaquita 2 Damascus blade
Had mine and the icepick sheathed in kydex by bladetec many moons ago.
That’s awesome!!
found the channel again, good to see shomer tec back on the menu but no dubstep intro?
love the potential for a 90s tv classic of the pocket trichotomy

Absolutely! Great suggestion 🔥💪🏽

Are plastic straws still illegal in CA? How about using this as a straw? 😉
Since the handle is plastic, I would try to texture it for a positive grip.
You could certainly customize the handle and I love the straw idea!😏
Hey! That's my tire!
I doubled checked the spare was good to go 😂💀

Appreciate you brother! Any tips for positively locating the 5th intercostal for a newbie?
Probably good for breaking car windows too.
Awesome! 🇺🇸USA made and $30 i’m getting one! Hopefully that tire wasn’t too hard to patch bahahaha
Can't patch on the sidewall dude
@@bigt9745 That’t the joke… the tire is ruined! I bet you’re a real joy at parties
😂💀
It was designed as a "life saving" tool.
Hey bro check out the microtech tacp. I’ve had mine for years I highly recommend for piercing your juice boxes. 😅

Well, that's more upscale than a modded Bic pen barrel...
Right!? Just a little more sturdy 😂✍🏽
In case you need to give your attacker a biopsy
We are all about helping others here 😏
This looks like a much cheaper version of the Bastinelli Tactical icepick.
That particular shomertec has been on the market since 97/98.
My thoughts EXACTLY!!
@@bernardbarr2354That’s incredible!! What was the first product you got from them? Mine was CF ventilator Pen and GTFO escape bracelet

@@tacticaltavern Anytime I see an icepick I immediately think of the movie Basic Instinct. 😆
