  • The Crochet Leafy Banner is one of the easiest patterns I have ever seen crocheted as a Maple Leaf. Designed by Jennifer Pionk for Red Heart Super Saver.
The leaves have 3 rounds. You start off with a magic circle to create the look. I have put a tutorial for the magic circle below. Then you will just do 2 rounds of stitch work to form the entire leaf.
If you use cotton, you can have crochet coasters. These are awesome. Give them a try. These would make fall or Halloween decor quite nicely for your living space.
Get the free pattern at thecrochetcrow... #crochet #learntocrochet #crochettutorial .
This video is closed-captioned for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. The captioning is also available in multiple languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. The written pattern is only available in English. . *** .

Red Heart written patterns (such as the one associated with this video) include the *yarn weight*, basic information that appears to be missing from patterns for many other Yarnspirations brands. When mentioning the recommended hook/needle sizes in tutorials, may I suggest also describing the yarn weight? It takes only a couple of seconds to say, for example, "medium four weight." Thanks.

Lovely addition to my autumn wreath! Slight change to your pattern; I MR 6 stitches. SC with an increase in each one but last, to make 11 stitches, just makes the first ring a bit tight that tightening up 11 stitches on that first one x

@@tosocat I never got started on it because I was searching for jobs and fortunately, I got hired somewhere. Since then, I've been too busy and exhausted to do any of my old hobbies. This was a very nice reminder though and I'll definitely try to keep this project in mind even if it's almost winter haha! 🙂 Thank you for the reminder!!

Never crocheted before and after several attempts I managed the first round and then the second but although it is clearly explained when you physically do it you do it so fast I can’t keep up so have to keep going over and over to try and catch what you are doing. Also how do you get the right tension? I seem to be all fingers and thumbs

Slow down the video, by clicking on the cog, top right and it will give you a drop down menu to change the speed. Hope that helps.
