We just stayed at the Blackburn inn Saturday night! It’s amazing but creepy. You could tell our room used to be a patient room/cell… the door still had the little window with the locks on it where they used to peep into the rooms to observe the ppl inside
The hospital in Washington state, at Fort Steilacoom, seems so similar. Children with normal disabilities were put there in the 1970’s. I’m trying to learn more and am finding it difficult.
I'd love to see you get your very own TV show. The research you do is remarkable!!! There is another mental hospital in Dinwiddle Co. In Va. It also has horror stories and is reported to be haunted.
Yes I have heard of that place, I have also seen pics of it. I don’t recall specifics but some type of online urban legend or creepy pasta was supposed to be inspired by a picture from there. I also heard it is next to a functional prison or hospital
Excellent work! Well researched and unafraid of the horrors of our past, this is the real shit and you’re doing a great job quickly and effectively sharing this information!
I like your videos, but I your video about matewan and the union war, and you're wrong on a lot of the issues. WV didn't want the government more involved in the industry. The union is nothing but a business that is coordinated by the government. Coal is nothing but a way for the government to get their cut, one way or another. Similar to cooked liquor in Franklin county Va
That’s a lot more unions now not then, that’s why we formed unions with guns and now the same politicians who support unions don’t support the guns that made them. I don’t dispute WV politicians got their cut. Now after a few more years of research I know more about Matewan than I know now. My story may be missing details I know now that I didn’t know then. If you are talking about the Union video I made in the abandoned company store, that was some day one stuff

@@alitaparker8220 wow, our room was lovely, and the grounds have lots of interesting other buildings
fun fact : part of the reason they keep the old doors is because they could lose their place on the historical registry if they get rid of them!
You are doing a marvelous job by exposing the dark history of our country.
Sad😢😢😢
Really excellent work with this dude, thank you.
@@danielbachman7807 thankyou
