I'm just wrapping up my10 day stay in PV. Beautiful scenery, lots of art, great food, nice people, but crushing humidity and heat. It drove me back to my lodging mid-day.
I am finishing my PV trip also, and I agree... it is too hot and humid this time of year. Although it's beautiful here, I am grateful for the a/c at the resort.
Sorry to hear about your negative experience in that one scenario. Some dogs get startled by bikes easily, unfortunately. My dog, normally the sweetest soul, used to be terrified of people zooming by. Usually, double what we consider “the safe distance” should do the trick.
Dear Larissa, PVR is sure lucky to have you as an emeritus ambassador 😀, your positive energy and dedication make a big difference. Keep up the good work..besitos..
Thank you Stewart, I am fine , bite is healed, small bruise reminds me about the accident, but no pain at all. Thanks for your concern 😍thanks for watching 🙏
Ouch, sorry to hear about the dog bite. Hopefully you will be surfing 🏄♀️ very soon. We have 2 large protective dogs and we have to maintain control of them at all times, so far no accidents.. Fingers crossed. Stay well and enjoy PV 😀
Thank you Scott , I am surfing every day this week, just got back home from La lancha, waves are getting smaller, we have a break for a few days:))) bite is almost gone . Thank you very much for your support 😍
It’s not too bad, much better than in Acapulco or Cancún, I don’t use A/C all day long but I turn it on and off . My suggestion is to have A/C and use it as needed.
I'm glad that you will be ok from the dog bite and i was wondering what is the coldest temperature that you had since living there and Thank You Larissa
When I stayed in P V I realized that most people kept dogs for protection . The barking was 24/7 . This is a problem in many places ,not just Mexico . This could have been very serious . I am glad that you are fine and enjoy your videos The collapse and corruption is so sad here in the U.S. . Take care .
Hi Larissa, I'm wondering if you think that Puerto Vallarta is changing and maybe becoming too expensive because of the influx of expats? We are looking to move there sometime in November but it seems like prices have gone way up since last year and we're having a tough time finding something to suit our needs on Airbnb. What are your thoughts?
Hola 👋 Airbnb is the most expensive platform to find rentals ( November is the beginning of high season) unless your coming for a short period of time . Yes, prices went up so are everywhere in the world, but cost of living in PV is still very affordable, at least two times less than in Vancouver Canada where I am from. There are so many small towns in Mexico where cost of living is ridiculously low, in some towns for example Lagos de los Marcos where I was visiting in November 2021 expats find its difficult to spend $1000 a month( ithis price includes everything, rent, food ….ext ) So if you find it’s too expensive to live in PV , there are so many other options.
@@LarissaSokla I appreciate your response. Yes we understand it's busy season and we'll have to wait out the higher prices. But I guess you're right that we can always find a better deal searching outside Airbnb once we are actually in the city and can look for ourselves. Well thank you for posting great videos and I hope your channel continues to grow and be successful as ever! Take care 👋
@@nucklegame77 Hi, if you're open to just outside the city I have a home for rent in Bucerias. 3/3 and fully furnished in a gated community with security, plunge pool in the home and larger pool in the tiny community. Let me know if you want more details.
The photo of your injury tells the story. That must have been so scary. I've never been a fan of pit bulls. Their behavior can be hard to predict. I hope your nerves have calmed down by now. An acquaintance was telling me she was planning on retiring early and moving to Mexico from Southern California. It sounds interesting so I have watched a few videos on the subject. I'm with you, I don't like the humidity and heat. I understand central region is mild. Anyway, I enjoyed your video.
Ay Larissa, se ve que te mordió fuerte el perrito. ¿Y si te mandaron las pruebas de sus vacunas? Que bueno que no pasó a mayores. Te mando un abrazo!!!!
If you see dog again take a picture of owner and dog and report to police.....next time it could kill someone......these types of attacks happen all the time in the US, as a matter a fact a Canadian woman was killed yesterday by a pitbull in Hawaii.....take care glad you're okay
I’m so sorry about your dog bite! Maybe you should seek out a Mexican lawyer and file a lawsuit. I hope you get better soon. It looks pretty serious! Larissa we see you surf a lot. What spots are the best in PV? Can you do a video on it? I am familiar with Sayulita and La Lancha but not PV. Thanks you! Big hugs!
Hi Larissa, I am so sorry you the dog bit you! I am glad you are doing well!! I just arrived in PV a day ago. I am interested in getting a bicycle and would greatly appreciate your feedback on riding here for commuting, shopping etc. Dog attacks aside! I am here to complete my permanent resident visa and I am seeking a clean, modern 1 bedroom apartment. If you happen to know of a good deal, it would be greatly appreciated! David from Niagara, ON.
Hola David There is phone number of realtor, her name is Andy +52(322)148-7138 . She has One BD modern apartment in Nuevo . I told her your looking for a place to rent . Andy speaks English.
@@LarissaSokla Larissa, many thanks! I left a voicemail for Andy, I will keep you posted. BTW I am mid 60's, an avid road cyclist in Niagara, if you have time, I would appreciate your thoughts on cycling for transportation and recreation in PV, it is has been a while since I have come off the bike, as I but older, the pavement seems to get much harder. lol Have a fun weekend!

I’m sorry about that dog bite. It looks really painful. I love your positive outlook ☺️.
Thank you Maya , the bite is almost gone and I didn’t have any pain at all
Other than the dog bite, I like everything you said, I concur and love the look and vibe of PV! I will email you directly. Thanks!

Ay that looks painful, glad to hear your ok, love your videos

The dog attack scares me for people safety, but also if I brought my small and very gentle dog. Is there no leash laws in PV?
