And she is naturally very bubbly and friendly. (Also it should be mentioned that both Itzy and Midzys did not expect that win at music bank. Loco was a tough era for us, so even though we wanted to give them wins, we didn't expect as much because of the negative attention Loco was getting from antis. Stan Twitter was brutal for Midzys. From the leak of the song to the constant comparisons to the other ggs). Yuna even gave chocolates to Midzys at the SBS music festival.

As for Wonyoung, she is at the peak of her stardom. She earns a lot of money herself and her family is also rich. I have never hated her, not even once but I have seen her attitude a little weird when she is interacting with groups on Music Bank, there's clearly a difference between how Sunghoon and wonyoung interact. She really needs to change her attitude otherwise she is gonna get into more controversy. She might be suffering from the idol/star disease. Why being a 'pick me' girl is justifiable in some cases? Wonyoung may not have the same trajectory as them, but she had and has a huge popularity. Everyone forgets that she debuted very young and ended up growing up in a very demanding and superficial environment. The agencies only care about squeezing the most out of their artists. So isn't everyone being unfair to these girls by demanding that they change their behavior when no one really cares about them as a person...? I'm just a casual listener of ITZY and I don't know much about the girls but Yuna has never once struck me as a pick me. She's absolutely hilarious and very cheerful, like I would totally love to be best friends with her. I dont understand how Wonyoung saying "they don't speak well" is controversy, she was just saying they aren't fluent. Exactly, she didn't literally mean they are bad at talking in general, she just meant they are not fluent in English - as you said, that's merely how they say that phrase in Korean and she said the exact equivalent in English and again, like you said it's not her first language so she wouldn't know how to change the phrasing to make it more polite in English and probably wouldn't even know that saying that could be taken negatively.
Plus when it comes to them saying she was 'bragging'.. the whole point of that show is to show your intelligence as well as solve puzzles and riddles. When celebs go on it for the first time, they are asked to mention their accolades/education level. Like I remember when RM first joined they talked about his education and IQ, plus when Suho was a guest too. When Jackson was a guest they (him & RM) were demonstrating that they can speak multiple languages. When Park Kyung joined the cast they talked about how smart he is and his achievements too. It's not showing off, it's just sharing what you've learned and the cast members straight up ask about it. The people aren't just randomly 'bragging' out of nowhere, it's relevant information to the show and is asked for. I only watched those few old eps so not sure what the more recent eps are like but it was like that back then so why are those k-netz acting like she shouldn't mention it at all when the guests are supposed to.. very weird.

All things considered, I would say wonyoung still looks recognizable and people are overreacting. I agree too and even Yujin . They both are from ex Iz*one that's why Ive is popular . I'm not saying that they are not talented but they are gaining fans too fast which doesn't seem natural to me

I don’t think Wonyoung should get a lot of hate, but I can’t help but compare her and Aespa’s Karina. Why? Because they’re both considered the “most prettiest” member in their group.
However, with Karina I feel like I never “think about her prettiness” because she’s so funny, genuinely connects with her members and is somewhat easy to relate to. With Wonyoung I feel like she just a wall and all you can get from her is this weird visual-like act

i agree actually. there is difference between acting bubbly, doing job and doing too much...wonyoung'sending fairy poses always ticks me off coz she tries too much but ends up doing too much..people praise her facial expression but to me it feels like too much actually like she always acts like that even in their recording behind..like
