    This is an amazing feature. However, one aspect I find needful is to tell me the best cutting numbers for the tool I have in my crib, not just the most aggressive option for a tool I don't own. Any chance that's an existing option I'm not seeing how to do?

    Pretty cool.
    Couple of things:
    1) I'm comfortable with graphs (I'm a mechanical engineer), but I found what seemed to be a 3D graph representing an optimization space plotted on 2 axes confusing.
    2) Your recommended starting with CADCAM instead of Feeds/Speeds and said that one works through G-Wizard from left to right and top to bottom, so it would seem to be more consistent to have CADCAM be the first tab instead of the second.

      The latest versions of G-Wizard do indeed have CADCAM Wizards as the first tab.

      I'd like to second the point about the graph. I felt you were trying to make an important point but the visual completely failed to communicate it.

    I'm a bit confused because you said the first thing is to decide on cut widths and cut depths. However at 4:52 you said: "I want to go down a 1/4" in depth". There's no explanation about if you have a deeper pocket. Would G-wizard suggest a deeper pocket be done in 2 or more "layers" for instance.
    The explanation you have given seems to just say, "Put the cut depth to the same as the pocket depth". That clearly will not apply to a great many situations where a cut cannot be done in one single depth pass.
    When you showed the 3d triangulated graphs with varying height peaks, you said G-wizard will calculate the optimal one, yet in the video you've MANUALLY chosen a depth based solely on the depth of the pocket.
    Would G-wizard automatically suggest the optimal depth/width combination of a much deeper cut, based on the material, cutter, machine capabilities, etc.
    So that gets back to the question, "How do we choose depth first".
    My company has just got a licensed copy of G-wizard installed on my computer so I'd like to understand this.

    Your videos have been helpful. I am brand new to CNC routing and have the Shapeoko XXL. I have bought some bits on eBay and Amazon and I'm trying to enter those in the tool section. It would be awesome if you could do a video for newbies on entering tools into G-wizzard when some of the data is missing. I guess the video would be more about how to properly figure out all the needed tool data if you don't have it provided to you so that the correct information is entered into G-wizzard. I can email photos along with the data I have for some bits to show you what I mean.
    It would also be awesome if G-Wizzard could run as a plug-in in vcarve pro. That would be just awesome.

      Did you find any software to help you? This seems to be for people with an industrial machine.

    If it is true what you are saying at 3:40, your algorithm will NOT find the global maximum without testing all XY possibilities. Those "agents" will find local maxima, no guarantee any of them will be the global one.
