I've been cubing for 11 weeks and my current PB is 18.66s on 3x3. Surprisingly, on the day I got my first Sub 20, I did 4 in one day! I have been using your video "One year of Speedcubing" as a guide for my progress and been competing against you. You're a great RUclipsr and inspire the "older" Speedcubers out there! for that first 2x2 solve, instead of the sune algorithm you used, there is a 7 move cll algorithm, which also cancels with the last move of the insert

I order a rubiks magic from dailypuzzels and the strings were out and it was very tight on some turn and very floppy when solved

I've only been cubing for abt a week and i havent been able to get sub 1 minute. any tips to be faster?
Panicked for a while because I couldn;t find my UV coated 2x2… I’m surprised I still remember the algs! I only know ortega but also have had to ‘relearn’ it like… 4 or 5 times (or more?) now.

I average 30 seconds, so I am not great at cubing. I tried all the scrambles and I got an average of around 30 seconds. I wish I was better! The video was great!
Finally I got cube competition this month but my nex cube moyu exploded the excitement got to it but I bought a replacement cube in time it’s the south west ga solvers 2023 and I’ll be in the 3x3 event

i got the exact same time as you on the first solve in oh finals.
solved the first 2x2 one in 2.4 seconds it’s my personal best. I done like barely no moves I solved it on the orange side only one piece wasn’t in!!!
I got a pr on the last 2x2 first round scramble
The 0.88 was a 7 mover you did it correct but you can cancel into a CLL

There is a 6 move solution on the last solve of 2x2 round 1.🎉
My personal best is 1:14 .. Not as fast as you professional cubers.. But i also learned it newly (it is about 1 and a half months now that i learned it, i think) but i improve myself each week or something.
Also would anyone have some tricks and tips? I am using the Beginniers method for now.. And don't feel comfortable with other methods
Edit: new pb is now 1:11. Also I also am pretty proud of this amazing skill
If I were you I would keep practicing finger tricks and turning speed! I had a average of about 40 seconds, but now I've improved turning speed, and I average 31! Hope this helps
8.39 for 3x3 r2 3rd solve. it was really good
i wish i had a magnetic megaminx i got a non magnetic one and i lock up so much and it miss aligns constantly, so hard to solve quickly, plus i don't know any pll or oll, and struggle doing f2l and looking ahead because so many pieces and it's difficult to sort them out:,) i still get consistent 6 min solves.
