About the Event:
James Madison University's Breakdance Club with help from the local JMU Invisible Children Chapter hosted Circles which is one of the largest hip-hop charity events on the East Coast. Going on for 13 years now Circles strives to represent four of hip-hop culture's major elements. Circles features Bonnie and Clyde battles, a graffiti expo, live DJs, MC battles, and the most anticipated 4 vs. 4 crew battles.
Proceeds from the Circles b-boy breakdance competition are donated to local Harrisonburg charity organizations such as:
Local Harrisonburg Boys and Girls Club
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
Invisible Children
