Is the WestJet Elevation Lounge Canada's BEST Airport Lounge?? (2023)

The Westjet Elevation Lounge is relatively new to the Calgary International Airport, and not only is it Westjet's Flagship Lounge, it is the first and only lounge within the brand. This is my third visit to the lounge; definitely check out my experience in 2022 as well.
All three visits have been excellent as it's easy to order from the menu with the QR code, and you can have a chance to unwind before a flight. The food and cocktails (this visit is mostly breakfast) are tasty and beautifully presented. The bathrooms are consistently immaculate. I would prioritize this lounge over all others at YYC International.
It is only possible to access the lounge on Canadian domestic or international flights, as passengers to the US will have cleared US customs and do not have access to the lounge. Passengers flying WestJet business class, a handful of other codeshare flights, and those with Priority Pass have access to the lounge.
p.s. I pay for all of my own travel.

@@sherwinvibar I used priority pass which is a subscription that someone can pay for with cash, or as a benefit as a card holder of the AMEX platinum cards. If you're in Canada, I believe the TD infinite visa privilege card also comes with priority pass. However, once you have the credit card you need to be sure to sign up for priority pass and have a log in to use the app or wait until you receive the physical priority pass card. If you have the WestJet credit card, you can also receive some lounge passes to use instead of the annual companion flight voucher, or if you have status with WestJet. My apologies as I'm not sure about Dragon Pass or other lounge passes with other cards; I have them, but never ended up figuring out how to get the lounge passes when I already knew I had other methods available to access the lounge. Hello. Dragon pass works here. Dragon fee is less costly than walk in fee.

Thanks for the video, no, we have never been to the Calgary airport or this lounge…I have a question if you don’t mind.😁
We are flying to Hawaii and have an 8 1/2 hr layover, can we access this lounge..TIA😁 we are flying premium..

Apologies for the slow response! If you have Priority Pass or if you're flying Westjet business class, you have access to the lounge. However, we were at the airport just a few weeks ago and they seemed to indicate only WestJet business class passengers currently are able to access the lounge due to capacity issues.... Fingers crossed for you!!
