Where the hell did you learn anatomy in physiology? The school of youtube comments? Stretching your wrists does not strengthen your knuckles my boy. Hitting a bag without wraps or gloves causes damage to the hand over time due to the bones shifting around as there is no wrap to keep them tight together. Too many small bones in the hand to treat it like a shin.
In my experience it tears the skin and creates cuts. And even when you put the gloves back on they widen every time you connect with the bag until you need to take a couple days off because you knuckles are completely skinless

I think we see Canelo pushed in the late rounds for the first time since GGG. I still back him for the win, just, but this is going to be very interesting. Bivol has tremendous balance and strength. Canelo has to nullify him early and control the pace.
Which might be difficult because canelo is more of a late round conqueror. He usually takes his time calculating and learning about the fighter in the earlier rounds and goes for the kill later down the line. Canelo is going to have to change up his game plan significantly in order to win. Bivol is no joke.

It's not hand strengthening, it's to build muscle memory so you hit with your pointer and middle finger knuckles and keep your wrist aligned, it is something boxers have been doing for over a hundred years now, would still recommend something to protect the skin though like some cotton gloves or padless gloves. It has nothing to do with conditioning the hands, because the actual way to condition your hands is dangerous without the proper gear, and Bivol's coach isn't trying to give him a short career.

He boxes in the Russian style. So he uses footwork and an active guard and finally moving his head off center line if needed. Personally I think it's the best style overall.

I noticed Bivol doesn't move his head off of the line when he throws punches. I wonder if this is what Canelo camp saw and will exploit?
More than likely he will not be striking like that. Most boxers don’t move around when doing their light punches. With that in mind, I didn’t see home expanding his game in this video.
He boxes in the Russian style. So he uses footwork and an active guard and finally moving his head off center line if needed.
Personally I think it's the best style overall.

He does move his head off center line plenty but he does it more through footwork and angles.
What he doesn't do much is slip punches through upper body movement like Canelo does unless he's setting up a body shot counter.

Aren't you being a bit disingenuous when you describe Bivol as a "KO artist"? His last 6 fights have all gone the 12 round distance. Bivol is a terrific technician in the ring. But he's not a big puncher.
I think bivol must hit hard because you never see opponents try walk him down, he always keeps them honest, and i've never seen Bivol look for a KO in his entire career
