Looking back at my childhood, I can say that I really loved helping my mom clean the house, as well as helping my teachers at school, I’ll always be the first one to raise my hand or be the one at the broom. Out of high school I was originally going into nursing so my mom recommended me to be a CNA while working with residents and i loved making them feel good/comfortable. I would always listen to their stories. Some had dementia so they would repeat the same thing but yet I loved to hear them speak and the joy that they had while speaking. I’ve asked the Lord about spiritual gifts, but then I wasn’t pressing on it so I left off of it. Now I can confidently say it’s serving others. I was listening to this while driving and I really looked back and I can see now!!!😭😭 Glory to God!!
Wow!!!! That is an amazing gift that can really help so many people! Servanthood is truly an honor! And we love how your mom played a role in encouraging that gift whether she did it knowingly or unknowingly!
I absolutely agree that most Christians aren’t utilizing the gifts that God has given them but so many worldly people are going after their gifts. Fear is such a touchy subject bc for me. I don’t want to believe that I’ve allowed fear to hinder me for almost my entire life. I used to live in fear of what others will say or think of me, but growing closer to the Lord allowed me to understand whose child I am. I am a child of the most High King. Fear is another way for the enemy to stop what God has planned for you! DON’T LET THE DEVIL WIN! We have a spirit of POWER, LOVE AND A SOUND MIND. ❤️ thank you ladies!

Another part of fear is our past mistakes. I‘ve found myself so stuck in a place because I could only see my own downfalls instead of focusing on how God maneuvered in that situation to work in out for my own Good. Fear tends to be very inward looking and self-Centered. Faith is always looking outward at God and how good He was, is and always will be.

“The makeup don’t stop the anointing”😂 I’m still learning to find balance in using it & still love the way God made me without alterations or enhancements -hair nails, etc. Lately I’ve gone makeup free and seem to love photos taken of me even more than I used to when I wore a full face. I love this journey He’s taking me on❤

My mom made me feel like I was going to be a failure. Even now some people don’t see it for me but when god bless me; it’s greater than what everyone else has. I think I’m afraid of failure, I’m stuck on when is it going to happen. I know o have to wait on gods timing and I also have to do the work. I guess praying and asking god where do I start.

Going back to the topic of fear displaying in our talents…it’s so hard to not use the most trending song (9/10 secular) because those are the videos that get the most views while my videos with barley any music don’t get noticed as much , things like this is sometimes why I feel behind in my gift if that makes sense
One reason, from my experience, why Christians don’t fully operate in their gifts is because of lack of knowledge. I used to attend a particular church growing up. The leaders talked about spiritual gifts once in a while and did not help us young people in discovering other gifts. I believe they should have the discernment of the Holy Spirit to see the gifts placed inside by God and help mature and make it to fruition.
I love how Raniya mentioned that she used to line up her dolls and teach them because I used to do the exact same thing and now I teach through Bible studies. 🤍 I was just thinking of the fact that I used to do this..not knowing that I was in fact utilizing my God given gifts as well.❤
I needed this. I've been really struggling with the spirit of fear based mainly on tik tok and tik tok preachers and them basically saying that everything is wrong but I'm always wondering like is this GOD really speaking to me or just a tik tok preacher that's not spirit led.
