My sweet friend, you hit the nail on the head when you said the greatest thing you could wear is confidence. I have struggled since elementary school with low self-esteem and confidence. I did not hang with the in crowd in school. It was not because I didn’t want to, as my sister was in that group, however, I saw how they treated others. It did not want to be a part of it. I did not have confidence to stand up to them and watched what they did to bring down others. I was one of those others. My grandmother also told me once I was not much to look at. She may have said it in humor and not meant it, but that stuck with me since I was young. That being said, I have been working so hard to build my confidence with many of your suggestions and with things I have been doing. Make up has provided me with an outlet, a hobby, and something that I love. You know I am a teacher of 33 years, a 53-year-old mother of two daughters in their 20s and a husband of 29 years. I have never devoted time to myself or put myself first. Over the past six months I have been trying to do that and I do see a difference. I watch your videos for suggestion on clothing and have purchased quite a bit from your boutique. I don’t have a ton of money to spend on high-end clothing, accessories, shoes, and fragrances so your suggestions of dupes have been life changing. People are stopping now to comment on what I have on, and I cannot even count the number of times they have made mention to how nice I look in pink, asked where I got a certain item, or just said they liked my smile. My smile! For years, I didn’t smile because I was always trying to hide in the background and remain unseen. I credit you and a couple others I began watching on RUclips with positive trends. Even my family have noticed that I’m a different person. I regret the fact that my mom passed away suddenly in June and was unable to see just how far I have come. She was my biggest cheerleader and always solve what I never did. I pray every night that she is smiling down on me now. So proud of the young lady I am becoming. Love, hugs, and kisses from your dear friend in Maryland.💕
Loved this video ❤ kind reminder of the little things that make a big difference! I wash my hair every 2-3 days. I love wearing my hair straight so by day 3 my hair needs some love lol
I love this!! You nailed it. I have to work on my makeup routine since I usually think either I do everything or not, so the three minute suggestion is great! A put together tip I’d like to share is to have moisturized lips and hands, because chapped lips or hands is a no no lol
Carin, hello lovely lady! Can you do a video showing me how to do the at-home nails? Like to see you do yours would be a great help! I recently stopped going to salon because I was just sick of the wait, and the increased rates. But my nails are naturally very short and I've been just painting them with regular nail polish, but I would LOVE to see how you do yours! 😘😘😘
Carin, its so minor but where did you get the pull out clothing rod that is shown during your get ready the night before shot? I would love to see a closet organize video, you are so good with decorating and organizing your closet. BTW LOVE my Channel bracelet 🎀
take no notice of people who are going to say nasty things about you I love you this is a great new ideas bring it on do more of your log they are amazing try to do make up log as well love corrinne friend butterfly 🦋 ❤ 💕
🎀💕 I have short, thick hair in a styled pixie and wash/style it each morning since I use a lot of product. Otherwise it is greasy. Cannot handle that. I wear makeup every single day, unless I’m very sick. It makes me feel better and that’s all that matters. I have trouble dressing down, as my OCD always leads be towards perfection. I’m working on this. Fragrances….an area I need suggestions. I’ve had 3 sinus surgeries and still get infections every few months. I long to find a fragrance to wear, but can’t afford purchasing tons of trials that affect my breathing or give me a headache. Open to any and all suggestions! A couple more ideas to add to your fabulous list….keep God as your focal point and compliment others frequently. You may have given them the only kind word they have gotten all day and it gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling as well. 💕🎀
Adding another thought for a sophisticated impression-using proper English. Nothing takes away from your personal impression more than having poor language skills. The use of “you guys”, “like this or that” and other poor forms of language destroy even the best outfit and impression. Professional language always.
You are a beautiful , put together young woman. I agree with the former teacher. I too am a former teacher and el. School principal. The use of “you guys” takes away from your over all impression. Truly try to focus on the use of other phrases that are more appropriate. It never is wrong to search out better English. Use the library, ask a former English teacher and listen to others that you respect. Sometimes we just get into bad habits. I highly respect you and what you have accomplished at such a young age. Even at 84, I continue to improve my looks and language skills. Please do not be offended by my suggestions to a lovely, hard working young lady who has a successful career. One suggestion can make a huge difference in your overall appearance. Good luck, my friend.
Whether it's written or oral, improper use of the English language makes you less credible to me. And using "like" too often just grating; like fingernails on a chalkboard. I often hear that my adult son has great language skills, especially for a man. He blames me as I started speaking to him correctly at a young age & I'm okay with that!

I’m mad at your grandmother! Sounds like your sister took after HER! That was a horrible thing to say to an impressionable young girl!

Try searching for "clean" fragrance

As a teacher of 33 years, I cannot agree with you more!
So true! I frequently hear "for my husband and I." It's never "for I!"
Why bother? Have u ever tried to follow a news article? It can't be understood with the politically correct pronouns🤡🌎
