For those wondering Betsy was played by Sally Struthers (She voiced Rebbecca Cunningham from Talespin.) Marshall Moo is voiced by Pat Fraley (Bravestar and Krang from TMNT)
^^ WHOO!!! This was one of my favorite cartoon to see on Saturday mornings back in the day when I was a kid!! This is awesome!! They do not make good cartoons like this anymore, and to be honest... hope they do not reboot it, as today's reboots often try to push toxic and wrong agendas into them now, which does more harm than good. So a toast to the original and real Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa!! ^^
This is actually Season 1 Episode 13, because it aired on December 5, 1992 in the US. Season 1 Episode 4 is actually "School Days", which aired on October 3, 1992
Moo: Like the Code of the West says "A fox will keep raiding the Hen House till the roosters cockodoudle-dooed." Everyone: What? Best line of the episode. Four episodes in and its already ribbing itself.
I remember the characters in this series had a crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a Mirage Comics saga in which Turtles traveled from one universe to another and met them. But they were in a more serious and less silly version, compared to that of the animated series (Bat Blastagun also appeared, drawn and characterized in a much darker and disturbing way than the cartoon). It would have been interesting to see a comic series made in that style, it's a shame that the series hasn't been so successful that a franchise can be made.
As much as I enjoyed watching Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa myself, I wish every episode had been animated the same way this episode had been animated with bright colors from the first episode "Bang'em High" that was aired on September 12, 1992 to the last episode "The Wild West Pest" that was aired on December 4, 1993, and the animators should've included body shading on the characters, because that's the one thing the characters lacked, and they also should've done the flashback in color too. (7:30) I noticed that there's another bull who looks like Dakota Dude. (20:20). And I thought Dakota was the only blue-furred bull of this show.
Yeah, I still love the show, and even if Season Two was not everybody's favorite, it still had a few good episodes worth watching and looked as if they were setting up some kind of reformation and redemption plot for the two henchmen if there had been a third season for them to show that.
2:03 Marshal Moo Montana caught Boothill Buzzard and Saddlesore Scorpion, despite mentioning that he lost them earlier. 2:40 Mayor Bulloney getting Marshal Moo Montana to do profession with shoving out stables, instead of the doing essential work as Marshal with upholding law and order, is his plan for Sheriff Terrorbull to take over Cowtown and increase corruption. I doubt that Marshal Moo Montana needed a side hustle, despite having to do similar work for his horse, Cyclone. 7:42 Shouldn’t the female narrator be credited for the episode. I can’t find the actress on the show’s cast list anywhere on Wikipedia or any other sites featuring information for Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa and its cast of characters. This was the only episode to feature narration in the series, despite Jim Cummings having similar dialogue for the Dance with Bulls song, The Cowboys way out west.
Obviously the theme sing holds um some 30 years later, but really impressed that the show holds up. I think I enjoyed it more than when I was a kid and the characters are fantastic. Better than The Wire.
Thanks for the upload! I've been looking for this for years! I had two episodes on tape as a kid but I didnt know they had multiple episodes/seasons. What channel did this come on back then?
Sometimes I get the feeling that the Mayor is also hiding another evil secret that he doesn't want anyone to find out about yet, not even his own henchmen. Not only that, but I start to wonder and suspect if he arranged for the kidnapping to one of those two henchmen that work with him, the one that gets the most mistreatment and abuse than the other, which is what I'm writing out for a fanfiction that's in development.
One more thing. I believe the real reason the townspeople do not stand up to the mayor (even if they wanted to) is because they are too afraid of Terrorbull since he acts like a bodyguard and shield for Mayor Bulloney, knowing that he can tear anybody apart with his bare hands or stomp on them with his hooves. I mean even Boot Hill and Saddle Sore are afraid of him. And I always had the feeling that deep down, Boot Hill wants to run away, but the fear of Terrorbull's wrath and what he would do to him if he tried, keeps him where he is.
Hey, awesome of you sharing this show on a HQ-rip, I only had crappy low-res VHSrips before. Any chance you could upload the whole show on Mega, for example? The russian links you provided have expired.
Nope, I'm pretty sure that Moo taught and trained them real good and I'm sure they'll learn more from Bessie and T_Bone to be the next sheriff and deputy of Miller Glen.
Bessy Bluebell's voice sounds like Sweet Polly Purebred. (imitating Bessy): Shame on you! Let the poor blue gown right this minute! (without imitating): So you see, her voice just sounds like Sweet Polly Purebred. Thanks a lot. Jimmy Kielbasa out.

Just because it was from the same creator of TMNT doesn't mean it was trying to be that franchise, it was trying to be its own story that's all in a western genre saga.
This was my favorite sat. morning cartoon show when I was a kid. Back when there was still substance and morals.
All my years of searching and I finally find it. Thank you.
For those wondering Betsy was played by Sally Struthers (She voiced Rebbecca Cunningham from Talespin.)

Pat Fraley also voiced Wyle Cat on Talespin
I know South Park made fun of her charity work for some reason

And I really don't know why beyond cowboys just ain't as marketable as they used to be.
I only saw that in the cartoon
The pagemaster. Fren gully. The great. Mouse detective. We’re back. A. Dinosaur story. 😮
I still have the original VHS tapes at 26 years old
Same here at 23.
Same here
Hey! Bat's voice actor did the Air Conditioner in 'The Brave Little Toaster'

This episode has some grsat storytelling of the ones ive watched.
Fez parte da minha infância ♥️
I love this show and lily is love ly🏇💋💋💋💋💋💘💘💘💘💜💙👗👠👠
yeah, you were right about the comment on 2:15 there. funny thing is i never did hear about that before until i actually paid attention to it all
I gotta hand it to Miss Lilly, she has a way of persuading, especially when she persuade the corrupt mayor
She definitely should become the mayor. We can see how she cares about Cowtown and how influential she is as well.
Phil. Hartman. 😮.
Poor Bessie! The childhood friend never gets the guy (or in this case, Bull) 💔
Don't worry she'll find true 💘 soon
Take a shot everytime he says "udderly .
Another lost find recovered!
Yup
Who framed Roger rabbit. Alice in wonderland space jam. Looney tunes movie. 😅.
Fantasia 2000. The rescuers down under. The nightmare before Christmas. Dumbo. 😊
2:15 did anyone else hear "I think these poor assholes have learn their lesson."
He said "rascals" but it definitely sounds like "assholes" at first.
That, plus, he doesn't sound very clear when he speaks.
@@mr.cherrycola8373 That's why the series needs to be released on DVD with suggested subtitles.

I wonder this on DVD.

It sounds like Neil Ross voices Bat Blastagun since it almost sounds like his rendition of Shipwreck from the 80's G.I. Joe TV series. Any objections?
Throwback
the BAT thats a bad guys voice is done by Jack Nicholson! Awesome!
He's not in the credits.
The voice actor is Neil Ross
Anthro cows. Wow, wonder what the fanfiction for this show must be like.
There's one thats a crossover with The Legend Of Calamity jane.
Está desenho marcou a minha infância 😃🙂😃
Why horses are the only one who are still regular animal?
Thanks for the upload! I've been looking for this for years! I had two episodes on tape as a kid but I didnt know they had multiple episodes/seasons. What channel did this come on back then?
It reran of Toon Disney for a while.
You wrong. This was ep 06
It wasn't a cowboy human it was moo mesa
I feel that Bessy should try dating Colorado.
Did this come on before super Mario brothers on Saturday or does my memory suck?
This Actually Aired On ABC After "Land Of The Lost".
Talks like Bravestarr...Sounds like Bravestarr.
Same voice actor.
I didn't know I needed an anthro-chiropteran Butch Cassidy who sounds like Jack Nicholson XD
This show is pretty cool. The only one I don't like is that mayor. He is a complete scumbag. Moo and everyone else are too nice to stand up to him.
Sometimes I get the feeling that the Mayor is also hiding another evil secret that he doesn't want anyone to find out about yet, not even his own henchmen. cow boy
11:10 They are cattle but they also eat meat? The fact that there are also regular cows in the show, makes it even more disturbing!
Alexander Walker maybe they're unaware.
um yea the cows are mutated as the comet that made the mesa transformed them.
I guess humans are cannibals too since we're animals ourselves eating meat.
maybe the cattle are for the carnivores species.
ME TOO NOW WHAT OH MY ISAAC ANITA ABC 1992
Is Bat supposed to sound like Jack Nicholson?
Where Marshall moo family
6:45 omg. is this what I grew up on?
its written by 10 year olds who are actually 30
Yup. Don’t you love it?
Frank and Beans as the next generation of Law?! Miller Glenn is doomed...😑
Nope, I'm pretty sure that Moo taught and trained them real good and I'm sure they'll learn more from Bessie and T_Bone to be the next sheriff and deputy of Miller Glen.
Mitch shuaer worked on this show he also created the angry beavers on Nickelodeon
Personally I prefer this trio of villains than the fixed one.
Who will Marshall moo b with lily or Jessy bell
I would do the samething if i see some old friends 9:02 i think he means he is coming back any time soon 14:03 i feel the same way 9:28 14:18
Wait, what? What show is this?😕
this was the final episode of the show before it was cancelled
No, that was the other episode in the second season.
Rob Paulsen (taken from voicechasers,com)
What's with Blastagun and his gang with that eye trick in 19:38-19:44?
Bessy Bluebell's voice sounds like Sweet Polly Purebred. (imitating Bessy): Shame on you! Let the poor blue gown right this minute! (without imitating): So you see, her voice just sounds like Sweet Polly Purebred. Thanks a lot. Jimmy Kielbasa out.
I came here because of Bad Creepypasta.
What creepypasta?!?!,
Miss Lily running for mayor?
Well, she threatened to do so if Bulloney didn't get Moo to come back. And she will keep it up, until either outcome comes first.
Who did the voice of Bat Blastagun?
Neil Ross
hey geuss what that is dakota duh!
since ninja turtles get rebboted these guys should to
Yeah, Ninja Turtles already has had enough reboots and it is time to give this show a chance to shine again.
Itd be ruined

One of the more amusing things trying to cash on TMNT. Doesn't do much for me anymore.
