This is the best AS version EVER ❤😮 The new "Download info" feature helped me to spot and solve, in only a few minutes, an issue that has been annoying my whole team for literally YEARS (huge sync times caused almost entirely by just a couple transitive dependencies) Also, the new UI is awesome 😍 and so far it's working great for me 🎉 You're awesome, and as always, ever doing a great job, congrats 👏👏👏🚀
Awesome new UI, looks simple and more tidy. We know how our android projects tend to make the screen cluttered. And how much more would we appreciate if the tools window (Projects, Gradle, Device Manager and the like) can expand on just mouse hover and collapse on exit. I don't want the whole project window left expanded just to locate a file. Thanks and keep it up.
I had a problem on Ubuntu 22.04, native debugger wasn't able to find debug symbols on Flamingo, fortunately on Giraffe the issue is gone. Have you fixed something like that?

new UI is awesome but it's giving me some random issues on my M2 MBA running the Public BETA of MacOS Sonoma. it fails to download the Kotlin DSL support files mentioned here 0:45 ; had to revert to Flamingo
5:17 ?? How is that new thing? My phone is set in english in settings, but some apps (i.e. discord and banking apps) are already in bulgarian (my native language) for some reason. I'm still on android 11 (api 30).
The new UI does not integrate well with Windows 11's split-screen feature, as essential functionalities such as the run and debug buttons are concealed and inaccessible.
Add ..... Bard or chat gpt like A.I SPECIFICALLY FOR ANDROID DEVELOPMENT IN Android studio..... It will just solve the debugging prob. As well boom the studio as well.. And also.. it should give source code like if i ask AI to give me shorts or reels suggestions algorithms like RUclips or insta RUclips .. it must be give us proper code and complete... Currently codes from bard don't runs in compliers
Since updating my Android Studio, I've noticed that it takes a lot longer to build new projects. Despite this issue, I still think the updates have been amazing and I'm grateful for the work the Android Studio community has put in.

Finally! Compose interoperability with views is finally improved. Abstract Compose views are fixed to preview in IDE. 🎉 Great job!

Kotlin's doc state Giraffe would support 1.9, but it does not yet.

Why are lots of Android vector icons removed in new Android studio?
Idk but in compose if you want to include more android vector icons you need to add some dependency to your gradle
