That first climb gets me every time. You definitely took the best option of side routes to split up Landmine, that Daytona part is awesome. Back in the day however the ground there was a deep red. Its slowly faded over the years.
I just took that loop with a tour guide (Escape Adventures) last week. You have beautiful footage, although it doesn't really capture how challenging some of those ascents are, nor how rewarding the descents are. Great video, thanks for posting!!
The cactus with the rubber ducks is a Joshua Tree. The story goes that there was a branch of the tree that hung over the trail and someone hung a rubber duck to remind people to "duck" under the branch.
NIce video. Blue diamond is fun to ride, although easy to get lost since the trails are not marked. Another trail to try in Vegas is Bear's best near Las Vegas Cyclery
Yes! So glad to see footage from this trip. Definitely tons to explore out there. I'm excited to see video of "the hurl." You're right about bringing the roadie too. That road out to blue diamond is a popular roadie spot. The views of red rock canyon are just too good! You can also bike the red rock loop but have to pay.
Another awesome video! That looked like a fun area. Scenery was fantastic. Sorry about your rear shock. How long have you had your bike? Did your daughter's team win? I love soccer. Played in college for a little bit.
John None thanks! Yea, I've had it about 3.5yrs 2nd owner so no warranty. They got second in their bracket. That's do cool that you played college. Where did you play?
RideLabs Second in the bracket is good! It was actually a Jr college I played at. Feel like I sorta lied. I wasn't playing at a UC or something. Still fun, though. Hope you get your shock fixed. Are you going to rebuild or get a new shock?
That is the Parrot Bebop2, I just put a link in the video description. You can get one for under 300 right now. I should buy another :-) They work pretty dang good for follow-mode.
As a certified Lead Evaluator teaching and certifying SAR Teams for Search & Rescue please do not rely only on your cell phone for GPS - as Mountain Bikers have earned themselves their very own category in the Lost Persons database used world-wide. Invest in a sport type GPS that you can set a location that you can at least hump back to. BTW that was a nice trail today.
I have to ask why? I've designed products using consumer GPS and on paper a phone's GPS is no different than a sport GPS other than the antenna sometimes isn't as sensitive.
Very well done video. The drone footage was sick.
Thanks Dan!

I need to ride down there again.
outstanding ride and well captured. Looking forward to it on my next trip.
Thanks!
Awesome video, Sir!
Thanks!

Thanks! Glad you got to hit it.

Hahaha, nice! Thanks for filling me in on the story!

Ohhh, thanks, I'll add that to my list for when I get back down to Vegas.
It’s unfortunate they built over bears best with houses :(
Sad! I never got a chance to ride it.

Yea, I'll start working on "the hurl" on Monday. It is so beautiful out there. Thanks for the recommendation!
I need to get out here. These trails look awesome
Dirt Church so good! When should we go?
Great video of my backyard trails :)
Thanks! This is such a fun trail system. Can't wait to go back to your backyard 😁
Great video man. I like the commentary you added.
Thanks James!
i have done this trail and rubber ducky with my uncle and the giant rubber duck is the one i put on
Nice, i just saw that duck for the first time on Saturday!
Cool video!
James Walker thanks!
What is your Strava? Interesting to know where to start one of those tracks. Sergio.
Here's a link to a ride I did out there: www.strava.com/activities/2218354961

What kind of drone are you using? Great footage.

Do people go out there during the summer?
Yea, for sure. Probably ride early before it gets too hot.
@@RideLabs makes sense thanks for the reply. Asking because I am moving to Nevada next month
@@jorgeub27 Nice, you'll get some great riding in out there. I need to get down more often.

Michael Webb haha! Great point. I've been meaning to get a real GPS. Thanks for the advice and for watching!

Ya started the wrong way
I disagree, this way is way more fun.
