Sir I just discovered your channel and have binged half the playlist. Love the quality content. Looking to start my own detailing channel as well. That being said, what camera and equipment do you use/recommend?
Hey! Thank you! I’m glad you have enjoyed it! Up until the grey Porsche Macan video I used my iPhone 11. Now I use my Canon 250d with the kit lens, or a nifty fifty lens for closer more sharp interior shots. 👍🏼
Great video, I can’t believe how much effort you put in. I’ve recently picked up my 2017 Macan and I’ve discovered a massive white chemical stain on the back of passenger seat. He says it must of happened during the final valet I’ve shown the dealer and he says he’s going to have the seat plastic resprayed. Is this how you would rectify it?
Thanks Martin! Are they similar seats or all leather? I don’t know what the white mark it but I would try and clean it properly first but any respraying
@@HarpersCarDetailing They are all Leather but with plastic panel at the back. I looked on your FB page earlier. I’m from Harrogate myself but now live in Malton. I’ve been recommended g1O1 by a fb group.. I’ve ordered it so see how it goes!
hey whats the dilution of the Koch Chemie POL Star your using 1:20? thanks great videos good to see what products you use, bad news ends up with me buying them :)
Hi, great job as always. One question, I know you don't want to discuss your exact prices for details but can you say how much you charge for meintenance interior detail in percentages in comparison of full interior detail? Like 70% of price of full detail? Or does it vary from car to car?
Hi! Thanks! I don’t usually do just interior details but it probably would be 65-70% but every job is different. I ideally like to see the job if it’s a new client before quoting
Hey man, if I completely submerge the fabric in the chemical then yes, but if it’s only a light clean like this then I’ll try and mop up as much with a damp microfibre and vacuum the rest. I tend to use a steamer more than an extractor as I don’t like to over saturate the fabric as if it doesn’t completely dry quick enough then it could lead to mould issues 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing great feedback man I was just curious ans looking for pointers and a understanding. One more question, do you use that blower to dry the whole car, because I’m very interested in buying one if so, thanks
@@HarpersCarDetailing Will you have a video on it? I would love to watch it, I have the same car and for a strange reason it’s like watching my own car being detailed :D
@@HarpersCarDetailing I ordered plastic suction cups from Amazon but they fall off easily and don’t stick very close to the license plate like yours as the suction cups are quite big
That’s exactly what I use. The clients numberplate needs to be clean and completely dry. When sticking the suction pads to the back of your numberplate it needs to be wet and completely dry when sticking to the clients numberplate
@@HarpersCarDetailing Thank you will give that a try. Let say you was doing before and after pictures of a car would you clean the number plates first and then take your before pictures?
Why glass cleaner on the buttons, and have you ever had the white lettering come off I use Nexzett cockpit clean UV blockers but have to buff the residue away does not air dry to my liking.
I use it more on the gloss areas, but leaves a streak free finish and flashes quickly. It’s not to strong a glass cleaner so don’t have to worry. Saying that, I wouldn’t use it on a car with sensitive buttons

really pro ! greats from Israel :)
What cleaning products did you use to clean the seats? Would mild soap and water work?
Water and a microfibre should do the job 9/10.
If not, then a mild APC and vacuum after 👍🏼

How much do you charge for this kind of interior detailing service?
I don’t do just interior details/valets.
This was machine polished and coated then finished off with an interior detail
Hey man do you not extract the chemicals from the carpets/floor mats? Just curious but love your videos. Definitely better than DG

Hey how long did this car take you from start to finish
As the car was New and relatively clean, it only took me around an hour to do the inside

Love the MACAN GTS and especially the bright red paint!
Keep up the good work :D
Thanks David.
I wasn’t sure with the red at first but it’s grown on me!
👊🏼

Great work! Have you also cleaned the exterior?
I certainly have :)
It had a new car detail, so a single stage machine polish and ceramic coating

Hi, what is the spray you are using on the footwell and floor mats? Is it something from Gyeon? Thanks
It’s Koch chemise pol star.
I’ve just recycled/reused a gyeon bottle 👍🏼
