Ans was the Old High German form of Æsir. Although, I thought it was singular and there was a different term for plural. I could be wrong, though, and I imagine that Gaahl is far more knowledgeable than I am on both ans and hrimthurs.
@rodrigoep01 The 'thurs' are generally giants, not really gods I think. Muspelheim is the world of the firegiants, very destructive creatures that pretty much just want to destroy everything due to their mad nature. I can't say I'm 100% sure here, but as far I know rhymthurs are frostgiants and trolls. On a sidenote there's also the Jotun, the big humanlike ones. Atleast that's what I think is correct.

Whether it's chemical or not does not change that. Again and again I see people who understand and believe the fact that our minds are very much playthings the body and the chemical reactions of it, but they arrive at the flawed conclusion that it makes it "just something you call "a feeling"" when it very much is exactly that, a feeling.
