Although windows have implemented screenshot app like this, you got +1 subscriber because that's some high quality content. Keep up with the good work!
I use it since I bought the Macbook, and I talked to developer (really cool guy btw) about few things that are missing. For example you cannot have few instances of the screenshot tool active - Like on Windows for example, maybe I want to share later Second issue is when you copy to a clipboard it disappears, which is an issue if I want to make some changes to edits that made. But for the free tool I am more then happy with all the features it has.
@@bogxd a bit side question, but did you tried to use Monitor Control App to control external monitor brightness? It's amazing app. You can make a video about it.
Dude when I was watching this video I thought u had over 10k subs and this video has more than 50k views but then when I scrolled down my mind blew up... Ur content is really high quality and if u can keep this up I'm sure u will grow
Coming from windows, now using my first ever mac, this tool is so much better, even than the new modern snipping tool! I used the snipping tool all the time to communicate with my colleagues, and it ended up with me free writing all text, arrows and boxes. On top of that, the snipping tool would sometimes bug out (depending on my screen configuration?) and flicker while I was painting. Shottr has all the convenient tools that snipping tool has and much (much) better. Who thought it was possible to draw a straight line without a frickin' ruler object to follow, huh, Windows?
what about screen recording, any apps like ShareX on Windows? The built-in screen recorder is creating large video files so you need to manually compress since it records at native resolution
Haven't thought about that because I try to get the best looking screen recordings for videos so I'm willing to deal with large screen recording files I'd say.
@@tiodeniz ohhhhhh okay I didn't think this was much of an issue but now I can't really find a way to add it without the color. I guess that's impossible as of now

@@bogxd but this adds an unnecesarry background color :(

Transparent background is only available to the Friends Club users.
can we have have a window version. ;(
If you are using Windows 11, it has build in function
Cleanshot X is much better
Yes, but you have to pay for it.
Not much better, but better at some points. And these features definitely do not cost as much as $30.
@@bogxdWhy I saw a 30-day trial announcement when installing Shorttr?
More or less the same.
