Yeah it's really annoying actually, that's how I've made a lot of my meta decks tbh. I bought 2 boxes of Destiny Soldiers, got an Ixchel and said "Well Darklords look fucking awesome". I usually buy 3 structure decks and buy extra stuff for them. Looking back, I tend to make a lot of decks because I think the artwork and playstyle is cool. I'm also original though, so people abusing Terrortop and Orthys Scorpio grinds my gears to no end.

It depends on how your store decides to run things. My store just gives out the packs, and then we can leave afterwards. They also raffle off playmats.
My advice is to not get greedy. Have your list of cards you want and stick with it. I myself want three copies of Speedroid Fiendmagnet, the two Predaplants that make the engine, and one copy of Ultra Polymerization.
