- On this weeks VLOG, I will be interviewing 2nd year medical students attending St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. They each give one pro and one con of attending a Caribbean medical school
I hope you all enjoy the video, and don't shy away from giving feedback.
Thanks for watching!
Dude I love your videos! I'm going to start SGU in the Aug 2020 term (If Corona doesn't interfere too much!).
I appreciate all the vids! Looking forward to the MedSchool life🤙
Waqar A Much appreciated!! Good luck!
I love your videos! Can you make one on money management at Caribbean school? Thanks!
Thank you!
#Addstolist!
Alex, not sure if you saw, but I uploaded a budget strategy video! Thanks for the idea!
Yeah i saw! Thanks for the info!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Can you do a video on the “weeding” out process and all the negative stereotypes around Caribbean schools? Also, as someone who wants to go put would be finishing post merger, what’s the general consensus on how it will affect US IMGs?
I will add it to the list! and I'm not really sure what you're asking on the second question
Haha, sorry for the typo. I meant as someone who wants to apply to Caribbean school in early 2019, what's the general consensus on how the MD/DO merger (starting 2020) will affect those that will graduate post 2020?
TBH they (the school) -hasn't mentioned this to us and I haven't really looked into it. I'll ask some classmates who may know and get back to you.
Carlos, sorry it took a minute to reply. So as far as the question you were asking, I'm pretty sure there won't be a direct affect on us. Or at least not a negative one. I graduate in 2021 and our dean said its nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, I didn't get specifics from him, so I kind of just took his word for it lol
Oh wow thanks for going as far as asking your dean! Appreciate it bro!
Myyy mannn, hope you doing good bro, tell terill I said what’s upp!
Already bro! Hope all is well! And I gotcha!
How do you explain Ross university not having mandatory attendance to lectures? I think they are also accredited in all 50 states. Is it something your school actually told you about the mandatory attendance or you actually have real evidence to back it up. Also Ross is accredited by a different organization/committee that might the reason to my question. My rational is your school implemented that since you guy have a really high attrition rate and need to keep it satisfactory in order to get student loans.
Great Video. I'm Jamaican and would like to attend SGU, is there any way I could get some contact information for Liann.. IG, Facebook.. anything??? Please. Because speaking to someone from my country would really help.
I would like to know about the school as well. I am a jamaican...would really love her social media info or something
Another con is that y'all can only be primary care medicine. Not cardiologist or orthopedic
RUclips google that’s not true at all. We have plenty students who match into surgery, anesthesiology and other competitive specialists. And in order to be a cardiologist, you do internal medicine first..... you are misinformed..
