There was no easy mode for the game "journalists". That's why they had to hire someone to play the game for them. Therefore 9/10.

The fact that the reviewer not only has played the game but is familiar with the Borderlands series is such a fresh sight.
What a low bar we have for video game reviews.
@Pablo Pulido he never said they completed the (30 hour btw) campaign. He's just glad that the reviewer has at least given it some avid playing time
@Pablo Pulido I'd agree that someone doing a review should fully complete the game first, but if you really wanted a review this early you have to expect that no one is going to have it fully completed. In a month or two then yeah, only trust reviews of people that have played through it.

When I first heard it might be short I got bummed but as long as the gameplay is fun and and there is more than the 15-30 hours of entertaining gameplay like extra modes at the end it will be fine

Its cool this has splitscreen co op on ps4, i can play this with my wife, we clocked borderlands 1 and 2 on the ps3 using the splitscreen, go play with your wife and watch your relationship grow
Lucky you, so's in my life have never really been interested in games.
Exactly my experience as well. We played this in college, and recently started playing BL3. My only gripe is with the lag, which is pretty apparent on PS4 when things get hectic. We also hate the horizontal splitscreen...they should have included the vertical splitscreen like in the older games. Otherwise, BL3 keeps the title for best couch co-op experience ever.

I've been playing B3 for the last week or so and I'm really enjoying it, I've got fond memories of the second game and this feels like a real fresh yet familiar experience

Awesome game - looks even better on PS5, beautiful visuals, great characters and a massive range of fun weapons. Halo meets Mad Max meets Timespitters with a touch of Doom - certainly in my top ten shooters of all time, its a work of art
Feels like you only started Borderlands franchise from borderlands 3. The first Two and the pre sequel are all majestic games.

And that remains why Borderlands does loot shooting so much better than Destiny's and The Divisions's piss poor attempts at the genre. Diablo, but with guns. Simple.

There a bunch of old legendary guns in this but that’s not really a bad thing because there is more new than old. I have to be honest though I can’t wait to use the infinity in bl3.

@@stinkymarty also fact that you can double barrel the infinity pistol just. Imagine fl4k using this during a fade away with skill augment that gives you unlimited crit shots for 8 sec and 2 f4ng . That's like 3 projectile per shot doing 200% crit for every bullet.
This was an absolutely spectacular review, keeping focus on the important things without nitpicking at the smaller issues, while also highlighting some of the genuine issues. Excellent!

3:40 I think i have seen that mission in one of the previous games
I think one of the most refreshing things is that they seemed to increase the proc rate for Legendary Weapons dropping. Every playthrough I have seen in a short time has had 1 or 2 drop, that's really great considering when I played a full game it might drop 1. lol But I'm also super pumped for the detail in skill trees, and increased mobility. The game just looks like endless fun.

I did it without one... but he never shocked the entire arena for that long during the fight so it was pretty ez

Everyone crediting the ping system to apex has never played Evolve. Never forget
The multiplayer mode in Portal 2 back in 2011 is the first first-person perspective game I definitively remember having the ping system. It even had a special ping that automatically counted down from 3 so you could coordinate with your teammate better without a microphone. RTS games have had pings for even longer, with Warcraft 3 having one back in 2002.

Doesnt mention the input lag on console. Playing on a ps4 pro and there is at least a 250m/s lag on your controller
Xbox be lagging to any menu usage and frame rate drops out
Yeah Xbox one X has some problems when using menus and the “performance” mode seems to dip the frame rate more than Resolution mode. Hopefully they’ll be a patch soon.

Picked this game up in 2022 for 10 bucks. Best 10 bucks I’ve ever spent on a game. Don’t understand the hate this game gets whatsoever

Don’t forget about the DLCs! If they’re anything like Borderlands 2 DLCs, that’s another 40+ hours of main missions right there, plus hundreds of hours of side quests and new guns and collectibles. And I’m sure they’re going to release headhunter packs too
I was looking at the other reviews of this game thinking "I can hold off". Then I see this AND I see that it written by Thuggin Duggin and I KNOW he knows what I want in a looter shooter so I guess I have now preordered this.

Great Game but do NOT buy it if you intend to play split screen. The hard to read text and no vertical split screen can be worked around but the stuttering and frame drop when someone opens their echo are a deal breaker.
