Some games, during the loading screens tell you useful info about the game. I noticed some info on a loading screen earlier. It said: 4 is the correct number of chuggas before choo choo. Man that made me laugh.
This is the important things i figured this out on accident and abused it after unlocking mayhem 3. Park the car next to where the fight is and good luck
shoddymonk 101 yeah it’s also on Atlas guns now. But yeah, just keep a look out for ammo consumption of your guns. And don’t always go with legendary guns just because they’re legendary. Most of the high end purple gear is better.
Heres a tip: be aware of what elemental damage you are using. Its like rock-paper-scissors, fire beats flesh, shock beats shields, corrosive beats armor. The color of the enemy health bar correlates with which elemental is best against it. If you are using the wrong elemental, your damage will be greatly reduced.

matthew myers In BL2, I personally would run up to two of the same weapon type except super early on where I never doubled up. The thing is, two weapons of the same type can be vastly different ex: Dahl vs Jakob’s sniper rifles
Im not sure if the game tells you this but i figured it out on my own but, You can fast travel from anywhere on the map, you dont have to run to the nearest fast travel point, if you finish a mission, you can instantly teleport to sanctuary by accessing your map from your menu screen and selecting the fast travel point you want to go to
Shoot the Cube rotating in the middle of the map in Desolation's Edge (Nekrotafeya) - with different elemental guns for each face of the cube - the cube will then drop a lot of loot and vanish (and won't re-appear). Of course, Do this on level 50 for best loot.
More tips that were probably obvious, but maybe not: • Weapon Trinkets are equipped by selecting the empty square to the left of your weapon in the Inventory Screen (I seriously didn’t figure this out until accidentally hitting left while looking at a weapon’s stats... at LVL 30) • FL4K’s pets will annoy you after a while. They walk around in front of you when trying to interact with items, chests, etc., they will bump you around when they get close, and the Jabber makes noise constantly. They are indispensable for solo players but they will ruin emotional moments (nothing like a touching scene punctuated by my Jabber walking straight through talking characters making noise) and just generally get on your nerves outside of battle. You’ll love em’ at first, and then you’ll wish there was a way to tell them to stay. • You can use the Lost & Found system as extra storage for weapons you want to sell. Blues and above will go to the L&F on Sanctuary so instead of picking up a blue or above that you know you’re going to sell just leave it on the ground (you can view the weapon card without picking it up by just putting your reticle over it) and it will end up in the L&F when you head back to Sanctuary. This does not work if you pick a weapon up and then drop it, so leave it be. You can expand your L&F via SDU upgrades. • Technical issues exist but some people experience more than others. PC players seem to be the hardest hit but I had some doozies those first two days on a X1S. Now it’s just menu lag and the occasional mission glitch that at most requires a quit and reload. I’m sure I can think of more but I need to get back to playing.
You will periodically have weapons mailed to you in game, sometimes just from gun makers for using their guns. These will always be at your level upon being mailed. 1. Got a level 50? Got a bunch of trash 50 guns in your mailbox? Want another character? Claim those guns on your new character and sell them off for a nice starting bank. Also, people forget you can trade in game. This includes money. If you got a level 50 sitting on millions of dollars, trade that money to a friend, have the friend go to Sanctuary, and roll your new level 1 character, and het your money back and buy up your SDUs for a solid start. Also, do not finish Zer0's crew challenge. Save one until you hit 50. That way, you'll get a level 50 Lyuda in the mail. One of the most sought after weapons in game.
Note: the level scale only happens is you keep mayhem mode on. Or go to true vault hunter mode. Also a thing I wish that was mentioned: weapon manufacturers have different things that make them special. For example maliwan has a charge up before firing. Tourge has slow fire speed. Hypirion has slow reload. So not only should you space out your weapon types but also your manufacturers. Because those seconds of reloading can make all the difference
My piece of advice to new players explore the maps for a little bit so you can find some chests that way then collect all side quest you stumble upon and the do them before any main, mission that way you get good gear and level up a bit and by the time you're at the boss you can melt them easy peasy
things i don't understand the game doesn't talk about: - are the percentage weapon stats on the bottom of a gun already factored into the numbers above? - what is splash damage + how do i do it? (for the Amara skill) - how do the overheat weapons work? if you unequip them, do they regenerate bullets?
Overheat weapons fire until the heat meter maxes out, then you have to do a quick repair which will reset the meter. The ammo comes directly from your backpack, but does not regenerate
Also if you plan on doing a second playthrough in true vault hunter mode which becomes available after you beat the game the typhon chests dont respawn I would suggest waiting on finishing those till your second playthrough for some real sweet loot
You can semd your friends loot through the game's mail sytem (under the social tab!) On PS it's the square button, I don't know about PC, but the prompt should be at the bottom, next to the mail. The loot you can send is based off of your current inventory.
If you need to spend money on the vending machines, go for character mods and shields from Dr. Zed's machine. He usually has better options than what sometimes drops in these item classes.
Wait 10 things the game didn't tell you or 2 things the game didn't explicitly tell you and 8 that are explained in dialogue or mission objectives but we didn't pay attention to

2:00 these chests level up with you, and can only be opened once per character you create. This means if you open it on your first play through, when you go back for NG+ with True Vault Hunter Mode, it will already be opened. If you are able to wait till you get to lvl 50, you can get great gear, it's only improved if you have mayhem mode on, a full party, and gear with bonus luck. Then again, legendary loot drops all the time in mayhem mode 2+ so don't feel too bad about opening them up, just ask your party before opening it in multiplayer.

What’s up guys. Where I stay is Ranger, GA. That’s the boonies and it’s very hard to get internet out here. So I found out the hard way that if you don’t have WiFi the game doesn’t let you get all of the crew challenges. Also it doesn’t let you finish all the side missions.
Also if you go spend all your money except a few bucks then it will always let you do it for a percentage of what you currently have, meaning get that SDU or whatever first then.
Don't forget to mention that if you select cooperation or coopertition, you cannot switch these around. As well, money is trivial if you have the big chedder shredder, the grenade that makes enemies vomit money.
So I'm late to the game and just beat the main story about 24 hours ago. But like I still learned some stuff from this video. The big one being pinging I had no idea I could do that
A thing that some people miss is when you hijack a vehicle, it will have a number above it's health bar to let you know if there is a skin or part you are missing.
The only problem I have with videos like these are that the titles make it seem like the game does a bad job at telling you stuff that it should. It’s not that it doesn’t tell you, it’s that people don’t pay attention when the game tells you or don’t read things when something pops on screen telling you the thing. Either it’s that they just don’t wanna read or they thing they already know how to do something and then get upset when doing it wrong
USE THE RUBBER CHEDDAR SHREDDER that you get for pre-order. The amount of money that drops is crazy. I almost have my backpack fully purchased (need one more) and all other sdu are at least level 4
In regards to the guns and buying more storage. I always buy more backpack storage because I'm hogging every single gun I get all to sell to buy more backpack storage.
You can fast travel anywhere at any given time by going to your map and then orbit. Whether it's locations or simply your car. You do not need to go to the stations. I can be in the middle of the swamp, beam to Sanctuary, than anywhere else again.
Actually, I'd argue that the vending machines are more useful in 3 than they ever were before, but only at early levels. I used the ammo machine to get my first money nade, and the gun machine to get my first sniper rifle, at least before I found hammerlock and zero have a chance to send you one if you do one of their challenges. You can also get a fire weapon earlier if rng is being stingy in the beginning. The money you save is insignificant later on, especially after you find a money nade.
That tip about doing all the Typhon collectibles and opening the boxes early on is wrong, when those boxes are opened they don't refresh for True Vault Hunter Mode, because of this you can't get the potential of level 50 weapons from the box that would be mostly ideal.
The interloper shotgun is ridiculously powerful and Earl sometimes has it in his vending machine. Buy it. I was still killing some enemies in 1 hit when the gun was 10 levels old
haha! Tip 8 you say "playing with randoms or something without a mic." I don't know who you usually play with, but I don't expect to be playing with anything other than humans...
sound options C/O cohhcarnage's stream on twitch, turn sound effects down to about 30-50% and have music higher at 70%+ or you are missing out the games very good music, as most weapons drown out the music
Ive found that 7 times out of 10 my shields have come from vendors. My tip would be don't sweat spending money early either, money is not rare and the amount from foraging will scale with your level. You should have no problem earning 200k in a session near mid game.
If you’re in need for desperate xp, you can just farm the lastest story boss and get some easy few levels making it easier for you to play the next mission :)

- what is splash damage + how do i do it? (for the Amara skill)

Splash damage is any explosion. Grenades. Rockets. Torque weapons. Crits on mozee. All of the above.
Ive always wondered the same with the +x% damage on weapons. Is it already factored in or do we have to add that on ourselves to know the true stats

What’s up guys. Where I stay is Ranger, GA. That’s the boonies and it’s very hard to get internet out here. So I found out the hard way that if you don’t have WiFi the game doesn’t let you get all of the crew challenges. Also it doesn’t let you finish all the side missions.
Your saying I deleted my level 20 character just to make a new build only to find out you can do it at the quick change station for a little price?!!😭
11 thing: borderlands 3 executable is using keylogging software that uses 2Mb/s of your upload speed, enjoy :)
on pc*
This was already debunked lmao.
Pretty sure that was debunked as either Denuvo DRM shit or a side effect of Twitch EchoCast functionality.
Awesome Video Bro, I really learned a lot and there is so much stuff that I missed during my ingame of BL3. This was super helpful man. Kudos to you.
I finish the game without upgrade my cars. I did not know how to get new stuff for the cars. Now I know it. Thanks
Me: Okay so I’m gonna I’m gonna enjoy it and then maybe learn who drops what
Also me: spams videos about “How to get *Legendary Weapon*
So I'm late to the game and just beat the main story about 24 hours ago. But like I still learned some stuff from this video. The big one being pinging I had no idea I could do that
This video was a great refresher as a borderlands 2 player
I only use Jakob’s, 1 shotgun, 1 revolver, 1 assault rifle, and a sniper
Yep, especially as a Fl4k main
Hey, brother! Thank you so much! Your delivery is always on point! I appreciate you!
Thanks a lot! You're awesome.
You can fast travel to any fast travel location on any world or back to Sanctuary or a vehicle you just used directly from your map.
Everyone send in a support ticket for the missing vertical split screen.
Good thinking, Batman. I shall get right on it.
Despite annoying Eva and trash Story, Borderlands 3 it's still one of the best Looter Shooter RPG out there. After Borderlands 2 of course.
As moze I have infinite ammo always :)
How?
Riger Vazquez Moze has the ability to regenerate ammo after scoring a critical hit
@@drewpydick8320 and her perk at the bottom of the green tree regenerates 5% of her mag per second.
@@mattj500 Oh nice, more glad I picked her
You can fast travel anywhere at any given time by going to your map and then orbit.
The game tells you almost all of this stuff...
That tip about doing all the Typhon collectibles and opening the boxes early on is wrong, when those boxes are opened they don't refresh for True Vault Hunter Mode, because of this you can't get the potential of level 50 weapons from the box that would be mostly ideal.
Tip one: change back to classic controls on console. Being able to hot swap to the exact weapon you want is much better than being able to ping a gun.
Gun ping is good for two playee
Oh dang, that last tip was actually game changing, thank you so much!!!
The interloper shotgun is ridiculously powerful and Earl sometimes has it in his vending machine. Buy it. I was still killing some enemies in 1 hit when the gun was 10 levels old
haha! Tip 8 you say "playing with randoms or something without a mic."
I don't know who you usually play with, but I don't expect to be playing with anything other than humans...
To view the challenges, you will have to zoom out to orbit level in map and the tab into the challenges
There's nothing wrong with buying guns from the machine. Just only buy the good guns.
Machines sell some good purples/blues. Its good for a quick upgrade, if you need a better gun and dont want to search for it
"Apex" i guess we gonna pretend seige hasnt had a ping system for years
minecraft killer229475 Apex’s ping system is a hundred percent better
One3hundred WDB sounds like you’re bad at siege
minecraft killer229475 there's only one ping in siege as apex has more instead of a small yellow arrow
danimals monkey 28 small? That thing is fat asf
Like this if the Elon musk gun should be renamed the Elon-gated musk-et
No
@@starlightSEGA who tf asked for this reply?
@@ItsBeasty you
@Ryoshikari nah I'm not begging I'm just tryna get the idea out there. How else would I, because I dont have a big following
I really like borderlands 3 but I think it gives you alot of legendaries really early
sound options C/O cohhcarnage's stream on twitch, turn sound effects down to about 30-50% and have music higher at 70%+ or you are missing out the games very good music, as most weapons drown out the music
Did most of this get updated? Because the game explains soo much of this, like eridium, car mods, storage upgrades, etc.
The different slot machines have the rewards table on the top of them, different machines have different loot payouts
I cannot wait until this game releases on next gen and i hope they include all dlc's and fix all the problems.
Make sure to sign up to the VIP stuff for good starter loot, especially if you got the normal game and not the deluxe versions.
If you tip moxxi enough money she gives you really strong assault rifles and SMGs
The vehicle one really helped
One of the best games I've played in a while
Ive found that 7 times out of 10 my shields have come from vendors.
This was awesome! Thank you sooo much! I knew a lot of it but the pinging and the crew challenge were new to me, I post walk-throughs and this will be very very helpful! i'm adding a playlist of tips and your's will be the first!!! Subbing for sure!!
