man alot of the balls are set so slow (third tempo). you watch brasil and you will see giba running pipe balls at like a 1.5-2 tempo and its unbeatable. if you look at the speed of the set in the play at 3:41 compared to the one right after it you see a huge difference. in the first play the right side has to hit against a double block where in the play after it the middle had no chance of getting there and even that right side blocker was late. fast tempo setting wins
volleyball is pretty much a massive ownage game where if the other team gets completely confused by a maneuver, they look really stupid just standing there

Ecuadorian Volleyball (ecuavolley) is much much better, it depends on strategy instead of streght. I've seen very little guys defeating tall guys basing on technique and strategy
