Went to the second cafe to get taiyaki's with my best friend yesterday!! She got the red bean one and I got the cheese one, the red bean wasn't good apparently it had no sweetness or saltiness to it (according to my best friend) but the cheese one was phenomenal!! Must try if any of you plan on visiting. Keep in mind it's quite expensive tho, $6 for only one of them which in my opinion isn't worth it considering the small size.
@@emmaslug ohh I see, that makes sense! We had eaten a smoother and sweeter red bean before so this one seemed to catch her off guard since it was super different
The only good one I've had was from a Korean restaurant in Melbourne. Even the ones I had in Japan weren't good. They all tasted like the ones I can pick up at a supermarket and microwave (dry pancake-ish outside) and either too sweet or not sweet enough. The one at the Korean restaurant had that crispy freshness with a perfect bean/jam sweetness and textured combo
Indian deserts arent made for foreign palate. Its smells funny. I let my friends try laddu, dudhmlai and julevi. They couldnt stand the ghee smell. They said it smells indian. I understood. It does smell like my indian friend
@@sourpotpie2000why they are so yummy... i am romanian and live in australia but i love indian food... i think they just need to get over the difference and see how yummy it is 😭
can you please do New Zealand with Lamingtons (pavlovas are technically fro NZ aswell but 🤷♀️) also aussies btw lamingtons were first invented in NZ as they were originally called a wellington
@@rachel705 It's not the same haha - I just Google searched and the Hawaiian version is apparently an ice cream cookie sandwich made by a brand called "Uncle's", amirite? In Singapore, our ice cream sandwiches are literally blocks of ice cream sandwiched in between a piece of green and pink-coloured bread (or more rarely, two wafers), mostly sold by uncles (and some aunties) in their bicycle ice cream carts.
@@SeashellSellerSkater Oh! LOL I totally read that as a brand and not just uncles as in “uncles and aunties” 😂 Definitely a different dessert than our American ones and looks super tasty!
@@rachel705LMAO understandable. Y'all's version looks super delicious as well! We have some similar American-style ice cream sandwiches here, but I'm not sure if the quality's on-par with the ones y'all have in America.
You should try some Finnish desserts! Blueberry pie, crepes with strawberry jam, Finnish oven baked pancake (with strawberry jam of course!) and sweet buns (pulla) are all quite traditional Finnish desserts 🥰
Check history the New Zealand pavlova dessert first published in 1927 was a layered JELLY and fruit dish. Only later on in time did the New Zealanders adopt the crunchy meringue. Where as the Australian pavlova published in 1926 is the Meringue dessert we know today. The Aussie pavlova has always been with the crunchy meringue. So that settles it the Pavlova with a meringue is AUSTRALIAN!
Can u please please try a moldovan dish or just visit R. Moldova P.S i love your Style, voice , cute face and energy + English accent 😊❤ love you 😘 bye 😘
I don't know why Australian's and New Zealanders fight over who made the pavlova cause I don't care who made it ,it taste so good 😢
Yeah I’m from NZ And I just find it hilarious 😂
It’s from NZ
But why does it sound like a Russian surname tho? not saying it has anything do with Russia, it's just hilarious for Russian speakers😅😂
Something about national pride and soft power maybe?

There's the natural red bean that's slightly less smooth i feel like with less flavor and then a sweeter, smoother red bean :)
