Brother great video, I watched it until the end and I enjoyed it, you’ve great style and I like it way you be yourself, keep doing your thing more blessings on the way, happy travels 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hey brother thanks for stopping by, Việt Nam is a great place to visit, the people are very welcoming and wild at heart an dance to their own beat, I've been in Việt Nam for 5 years now, but the extremely hot & humid weather along with the chaotic disorganized driving amongst a few other things are starting to wear me down because at the end of the day, when it comes to living abroad it's about finding that place that best suits you an brings you the best value as a whole, but it will be a sad day when I do leave Việt Nam because I've made lots of wonderful local friends here whom I'll miss when my family and I move to Slovenia, but at least I'll be back to Việt Nam since my wife is Vietnamese. I see you're in Greece now, I'm also looking forward to visiting Macedonia one day. So be careful out there bro and look for more great video's to come, or just check out some of my Playlist videos.
Thanks my experiences in Vietnam is very deep and isn't surface level like most foreigners, the things I've come to understand and learn about life in Việt Nam makes me feel like a local, because my wife say I'm not the typical foreigners I'm more like a local because I understand Vietnamese people and their culture even though I'll never been consider local.
Yessir it's all about keeping it real, cause I've been living here in Việt Nam long enough to see many foreigners come and go, heard many mind blowing stories, I've also went through my own ups and down as well as dark periods here in Việt Nam, which never gets spoken about because most RUclipsrs paint a glossy picture of how great everything is for those gullible foreigners, you'll sell there house and car move to Việt Nam to find love and harmony only to realize it's far different from he or she originally heard from those RUclipsrs, who spent a week in Việt Nam filming themselves having a jolly good time on vacation 😂
Damn bro 30 years....thats gonna be quite the reunion. My wife is from TnT and i can tell you a lot has changed in 30 years. Hope you get those adventures on video. All the best.
Hey bro thank for the comment and stopping by, but yeah it's 38 year's to be exact, which is shameful I know but it's like a explain to a friend a few weeks back, it's because my mom had when she was 18 years old and I was raised by my grandmother from 5yrs old until 10, then I went to live with my dad, so I never really had a close relationship with my mom and at 12 year's old my dad moved my brother and I took Southern California, which is where I grew up from 12 onward and at that point and time I was just a California teenage trying to figure out myself and life in a new country next thing you know I'm married, I'm a father, I'm a US soldier etc, and it's 38 year's later. But the time has come for to go and see my mom, so yeah it's going to be a hell of a reunion 🤣😂
@@travelexploreasia9576 oh I'm not judging my friend I'm just saying that's a long time to be away like that. 🙂🙂 Enjoy yourself and make sure to get some doubles and bake and shark. Take care and best of luck to you and the wife.
@txw0091 Ohhhh, not at all my friend, I know you wasn't judging 😂 On my part, I was just explaining the psychology bonding effect between parent and child cause I never bond with my mom, but more with my grandmother instead, since she's the one that raised me. But I'm definitely looking forward to eating a curry chicken roti, doubles, pudding, palau & liver and plantain 🤣 etc. As well as touring the country a bit, since I left as a boy... So yeah look forward to some videos of Trinidad and Tobago in November when a get back to Vietnam.
Ohh,, wow we keep missing each other 😂 Thailand now Đà Nẵng, I'm actually leaving on a month long trip, one day in Taiwan, two weeks in California and two weeks in the Caribbean visiting my mom, I haven't seen her in 38 year's, so I'm a bit overdue, the last time I saw my mom I was 12 years old, when I get back from my trip I'll have to plan a special trip to Saigon, to me you and your family. 👨👩👦
I'm sorry that you got divorced from your Vietnamese wife and that you were stuck in Hanoi during the lockdown for many month paying for an apartment in both Hanoi and Danang. You told us that your lockdown in Hanoi costed you over $10,000. I just hope you are not telling us all this informations out of the bitterness of your bad experiences. Many expats have married Vietnamese women like Eli in Vietnam, and are happy with life in Vietnam now.
Hey bro, thanks for stopping by and the comment, but be careful when you say many are happy in there marriage because you won't actually know until you live here in Việt Nam, so please realize that RUclipsrs like Eli and a few others are older than there counterparts an they married the typical local girl looking to get married, plus I also know Eli and we've chitchatted via Facebook messenger an let's just say what he won't say on RUclips we've spoken about the only thing we've never hung out, but I also know a few friends of Eli an they're not saints and that's all I'll say, because that's their business. As far as my crazy time spent in Hà Nội along with the money amount of money spent, I look at it as experience because during that time there was a lot of locals & foreigners alike, who lost more than $10,000.00 dollars, even though I didn't like it, but overall some of the local people I met in Hà Nội I'm now good friends with. I didn't mention this before, but the visa agents who tried to help me for the most part didn't know what they was doing, because in the end of the whole ordeal it was my landlord connections and the immigration department that straighten everything out for me, when it came to the visa issues I was having, the stupid visa agents said I needed a new visa when I already had a 5 year family visa, so immigration department wanted me to name names, because I was given the wrong information by the visa agents and didn't need a new visa after all, the immigration office also was going to charge me a hefty fine, but realized I've got local friends in high places who made a phone call on my behalf, so instead of paying a fine they made me write a apologize letter to the immigration office and they also told me from now on if I ever have any visa problems etc, I should contact them directly at the immigration office.. Finally I'm not bitter about my ups and downs here in Việt Nam, it's because of my ups and downs I've come to know so much plus I mostly deal with locals, so I'm just giving the real deal of what it's actually like living in Việt Nam as a foreigner, which a few of my subscribers have asked for because I'm in the perfect position to do so since I live here cause most of the A-Typical RUclipsrs will only give you the glossy touristy version of what life is like here in Việt Nam, so they can get views and subs an Eli will only go so far in what he'll say on camera because of maybe his wife I'm not sure. My new wife as well as local friends all make sure I'm street smart like they're making sure that I know what I need to know in order to live in Việt Nam like a local because most foreigners don't know how to live in Việt Nam plus I've also had my own crazy experience as well... Anyway my friend keep on looking forward to more Real Talk Vietnam, where I share my experiences as well as giving foreigners a clear picture of life in Việt Nam and what it's like to living in Việt Nam as a foreigner.
@@travelexploreasia9576 Slovenia is a great choice as a place to move to. My Croatian friend goes on hunting trips to neighboring Slovenia often. The only thing about beautiful Slovenia is the fact that Slovenia is getting more and more unaffordable like most other EU's nations. If you can afford the cost of living there, it is a great place to live in. The Beautiful women are some of the most pretty in the world. If I was looking into moving to Europe, I would probably considers moving to Ukraine where it is easy for an American Expat to gets permanent residency. In Ukraine, all you need is to do is buy a resident like a $50,000 condo and they will give you permanent residency in Ukraine.

As usual very informative and honest for anyone who wants to know what the real deal is living in Vietnam.
