David, the song was actually written by John Douglas, Eddi's "other half". Both John and Francis Reader, Eddi's brother, are members of Trash Can Sinatras. TSC's version of this song is stunning.
Only those who do not understand music do not stop here. Eddi is tops, with Mary Black. As a Christian, I have required hymns to be sung at my funeral, but if someone slipped in one by Eddi, I would not object.
Caught Eddi & @ Sligo’s Hawkswell Theatre last night ..... The venue was absolutely freezing ( Management skimping on the central heating 🙈) however Eddi and the lads were smoking hot ... So wanted to hear Wild Mountain Side ... but it wasn’t to be .... Hopefully next time she’s in the West of ireland 🙏
