Great results Rob. The video would have been even better if it covered the most important factor on a busy fay ticket like Farlows, location. Why did you choose that peg? What signs of fish activity did you see? How long did you have to wait for the swim or eas it 'saved' for you? Without getting on the fish it doesnt matter what tactics you use
I've always been told that a boilie only approach this time of yeah, when I'm next out I'm going to try particle fishing. Great video 😀

Hi, I used to fish Farlows in the 80’s when it was Boyers had it. Now living miles away but returning end of next month. I’d that horseshoe you are fishing off?

I wouldn’t waste my time on the farlows shit pit. I hear Charlie has been kicking paying customers out of the swims with showing fish again for his buddies. Avoid this place like mad.
Korda got the owner to kick some poor bloke out this swim so they could get back into it.

@@Brian-rp6kq yep just check out its reviews, speak with other anglers about the place. I would seriously recommend avoiding the fishery. Charlie one of the Balifes has serious little man syndrome unfortunately if he wants you out of the swim you have paid for your gone. Good luck

@@SouthWestCarpHunter unfortunately bud it is true. We traveled 2 hours 3 of us to fish 7 nights, we got the best pegs in the deep with fish crashing out in front, we drove back to the office to pay and it was shut so we waited in the vans looking out onto lake 2 then when he finally arrived back he had all our buckets with him and his mates were setting up in the swims we thought we had. Shocking to say the least. However he did offer that we could fish lake 2 as it was fishing it’s head off ( the usual farlows story ) we politely told him to stick it. If we hadn’t of had a week ahead of us fishing it would of been very different outcome for little Charlie. On the plus side we now fish linner and by far it’s a top uk water and the bailiffs are brilliant really helpful.

Maybe less reason to rest the swim if you keep the line slack and on the bottom.
Honestly don’t see the enjoyment of fishing next to a motorway on a heavily stocked carp puddle. Each to their own I suppose.
the farlows fish are some of the oldest and best looking in the Colne valley. where do you class a nice lake
@@johnnybegood9560 if that isn’t the definition of a carp puddle I don’t know what is. Their aim is to be the ‘number one day ticket fishery’, they have 1200 fish in there and are hammered all year round same as Linear. There are lakes everywhere whether that be on a syndicate or day ticket nicer than that to fish. There are some nice fish in there like every lake but not my bag having people casting into your swim, getting battered, noise of the road and cars driving past your swim.
