Have you realized that no one even has the DC version of this fan? My cousin's grandparents have a DC stealth that has the Hang Tru in it. There IS (I think its still there) a brushed nickel DC panama (the older style) available. Someone needs to get it to test it and tell us that its so much better than XLP.
@@kaysonthefancollector8826 I didn’t really notice. Our area doesn’t sell Hunter or Casa anymore and haven’t for awhile so not many new Casas show up here. I despise Hunter nowadays so it they don’t get attention from me unless a new catalog is released.
Looks like high speed is 239 RPM. My 1992 Delta II with Samsung motor spins about 230 RPM with five 21" blades, so only about 10 RPM slower even though it's 50" instead of 42".
I would not be surprised if its 210x20mm with 20 poles like the spinner originals (of course they are not the first oil bath spinners the century fans were) as they also are slightly better than K55 regarding the hum same applies to the spinner originals ive seen 3 with no hum 2 others with hum not bad mind you that cast iron houses do help soak up noise
These run even faster than the Originals w/ proper 15° pitch. Guessing its bc of cap values; earlier skeletal ones had a 4uF run cap I believe and these are either 4.5uF or 5uF (I believe it’s the latter).
@@noahc9952 Hunter Original blades are actually wider than Casablanca blades, and seems like skeletal Original with oil hole on top of the motor housing have 4.5uf capacitor, same goes with XTR Casablanca.
Harrison ask you a question I have a Baja series bottom mount spinner ceiling fan and some home steady looking thing that has a Casablanca sticker on it I was going to see if you have that six blade CEI hugger still with the cane blades as I see about that thing doesn't move okay air cuz I'm willing to trade you to my most prized you know ceiling fans two ceiling fans for one the six plated thing has the original mounting bracket the blade five of the blades are perfectly fine one of them has a chip for running all the way down one side but the whole blade still there it just looks kind of I was going to see if you could get back to me on that please do I'll I'll try to find a way to save up for shipping and handling though if it could if this does work out if you read this and agree to trading but I'm not going and saying oh you can you have to do this all that but just saying please think about it cuz I love whatever that thing is because it's odd and it's perfect in my way I love very odd ceiling fans so whenever I could snap up the chance to get some weird six bladed thing trust me I'm there on the DOT
This definitely made me think about not getting XTR, I would much rather have a XLP motor that’s much quieter. The modern DC Panama is better than this stupid thing.
@@charless.7918 Its also better than the XLP and the K-55. Sure its a hunter redesign, but its still a classic fan. So having the classic panama performance while using way less energy than the stack motors is incredible.
Love ur video's always makes my day!
The XTR Halo one lasted till 2011. The uncommonness is the one thing I like about them.

Honestly I quite like the XTR motor. Probably more than XLP or K55 despite them being noiser

The Panama DC is something I need to test. DC fans are superior to many, many AC offerings, especially in the 60"+ realm.
