  • AnkerWork has once again come up with an audio device your didn't know you needed, but you do. MagSafe phone stand? Check. Small-but-powerful Bluetooth speaker? Check. Hands-free speakerphone that cancels any noise other than your voice? Check.
Seriously...I don't know how they do it.

Does it work with a land line?

No, it's strictly bluetooth for mobile phones.

You can make phone calls on your computer and then your computer could hook up via Bluetooth... So technically it could work in that aspect

@@scottybones Also my panasonic phone system has bluetooth on it so i can connect my cell phone through it. If he wants to send me one to test it out, if it works it could sell to more people...

Interesting. It seems like a few years ago anker was the knock off cable and charger brand. It seems like they are synonymous with serious quality across their product spectrum these days.
Possibly my impression was wrong all along lol. Not that I've ever had any issue with any of their products. (Knockoff isn't maybe the right word)

They started out as a pretty decent maker of 3rd party charging stuff. They’re probably one of the 2 best in that category now. One of the first to get out a full line of GaN chargers. Their audio and productivity stuff has been growing the last 5-6 years. Pretty impressive business plan overall.

Knockoff is the incorrect word. They are still controversial for a few business decisions they've made, but they don't make knockoff products, just 3rd party ones.

That absurdly hyperbolic and opinionated video title rubs me the wrong way, considering your intended brand image of honesty. I work from home and the idea that I need this or that it's even close to a "must have" is truly laughable. A good pair of over ear Bluetooth headphones works way better if you are the only one in your household working from home (AKA almost everyone who works from home 🤷‍♂️). You know full fell that the vast majority of us audience does NOT view this as a "must have", so what's the purpose of claiming that in the title? Maybe I'm taking you too literally, but it's bit jarring to see a title like that when I know that you know that it's inherently inaccurate. I wouldn't be annoyed by this if "honest" wasn't literally in your channel name. It seems like a contradiction to me to ure hyperbole like that when the theme of the channel is honesty.

This video is not for you. It's for the people searching for a device like this. It's pretty darn great if it's something you need. This is my honest opinion.
I make videos for different kinds of audiences depending on the topic. Some are search-based, and some are focused on my core audience. Some are geared toward bringing new people to the community.
I don't forfeit my credibility by making a video about a product and getting paid for it. I don't make videos about products I don't think would be good for the consumer.
I've worked with Anker a lot over a long time, but that all started because I made a video about a Soundcore product I bought and liked a lot, and I said so. Just like I do in all my videos. I'm not hiding anything here.
Don't just look at the tree, bro. There's a whole forest out there.
