- CSGO star Refrezh spoke to Dexerto in a PGL Antwerp 2022 CSGO Major interview after Heroic fell to NAVI 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the PGL Major. Refrezh spoke about why they just can't seem to get past s1mple and NAVI, and how Natus Vincere deserve respect for playing with the Ukraine war in the back of their minds.
Refrezh also spoke about how he thinks the final of the CSGO Major will be FaZe vs NAVI, following the Major semifinals between FaZe CSGO and Team Spirit and NAVI vs ENCE.

Do YOU think Heroic will ever get past NAVI when it matters?

With the right roster change yes
They did previous event
For sure, they just need to practice more. Seeing the way they playing this major compared to just maybe half a year ago when they faced NAVI back then they are literally a completely different team entirely, seeing them play CS in this reserved and strategic kind of way completely took me by surprise as a Heroic fan. We have certainly seen them play reserved and make beautiful game changing decisions before but they not only put that kind of CS on the table but also directly competed the very PLAYSTYLE of NAVI almost mirroring every movement against NAVI's offense on Inferno and completely keeping them at bay and then kind of doing similar things on the defense side as well, it was completely unheard of from Heroic and I didn't expect to see them play so well. It was also surprising to see NAVI play Ancient so well considering how Heroic's Ancient has been so good in the past, Heroic seemed to make a few fumbles there that lost them the match sadly and I honestly didn't watch the 3rd match because I knew that it would turn out the way it did simply because at times it seems the team doesn't have enough stamina built up to play at their top level of play throughout 3 consecutive matches sadly.
It ALWAYS MATTERS when you play against Navi, especially in the knockout rounds. It will help boost confidence etc...
I dislike heroic but refrezh seems like a nice and mature dude. Respect

The way they played I think they don't need any replacements. They are only getting better and better. Man they almost took down the Major winner Navi, imo the second best team that has ever played the game, if not the first (depends on how good the 2018 astralis was)

That inferno match has to take the cake for my list of top 10 matches. That game was WILD
yeaaa was insane
The TeSes 1v2 clutch with the 180 turnaround was so insane
magixx 1v4 was dope, last kill was with awp and he could only see 2pixels of his head.
The anti strat against s1mple to get the double opening kill on simple by doing the boost peek was sooo nice to watch xD
unfortunately they still whiffed those rounds

heroic looked very good tbh narrowly lost on ancient a few clutches they could have played better (electronic 3 v 1) and they would be through to semis

Not really unlucky the amount of seeding in majors really means they should have been against navi or faze with how they played earlier.
They're number 3 team in the world I think pinning them against faze or Navi is more than in their area

Everybody talking about nuke. But we all know after heroic lost ancient which they should have won if they would have not made childish mistakes like that 1v3 at the end of first half.. After that we ALl knew on nuke heroic will crumble under pressure..
These interviews look sooo much better than Val interviews which are just in front of a green screen. Valve production is a level up, seems like all riot cares about is the entrance and the stage

Cadian cheated and CSGO devs don't care about game integrity so he wasn't banned alongside hunden. (Cadian heavily assisted in the coach bug and it's been proven he knew about it.)
You said it, it was a bug exploit not a cheat. Monesy did the same this major- yet you wouldn't write that comment about him lol the hypocrisy is real
@@nik7bkh965 monesy threw 1 glitch smoke which was allowed by the organizer of the tournament. Heroic cheated and used the bug on every single game over the course of over a year and built an org from the ground up using it. On top of that none of the events allowed this, it was clearly against the rules.

There roster is bought and paid for using stolen money, they spent stolen money on a hq to train their players, they spent stolen money on strategical staff and those are the things that make heroic able to be top 10. Heroic wouldnt be top 10 without those things purchased with dirty money.

@@dev_s0mple Nobody expected a stomp by any means. Heroic beat them 16-9 on Nuke in the RMR. And Navi had lost 3 out of their last 4 Nuke maps before facing Heroic. If anything, Heroic were favorites on that map yesterday and Navi slapped them.
@@atharvarajadhyaksha4813 I just thought given how intense the first 2 maps were , and with almost little to no mistakes on both maps by both team, at the 3rd map one of them was gonna finally make some consecutive critical mistakes, I didn't know whether it was gonna be Navi or Heroic xD but just had the feeling that one of them will crumble.
@@dev_s0mple I loved the 3rd map xD. Navi showed a few glimpses of their 2021 form. That's a reminder that Navi are extremely scary if they play like they did last year. And this is with s1mple underperforming. Imagine if he wakes up now , I think Ence and Faze could crumble as well
