Gigi is my favorite artist today. She is one of the 3 Queens from the Philippines. Mori and Kat are the other two of course. Gigi's versatility has no equal and that "golden tone" is out of this word. It makes everything sounds better. Amazing band too. Gigi is a rock chick by trade but she OWNS the 80s.

When I first heard Gigi I was blown away by her beauty and pureness of tone. Then as I listened to her other covers, I realized that she was masterfully making them her own and I've heard people call her a cover chameleon because she can do any genre and you would think that is her forte. Some outstanding examples are Frank Sinatra's jazzy "Fly Me To The Moon", Dianne Reeves' soulful "Better Days", an almost perfect cover of Paramore's "Decode", the yearning ballad of Glen Campbell's "Yesterday When I Was Young" and a riveting cover of Sam Smith's "Unholy". Make sure that it is in the Gigi de Lana and the Gigi Vibes channel that you listen to. These renditions are parts of their 3 hour long live streams so many times you will see her looking down to read the lyrics because they are actually live requests.
Gigi is the QUEEN OF ALL GENRE! If you want to see her sing like avril Lavigne, try her I'M WITH YOU, if you want to see her like Allanis Morrissett,try her IRONIC, if you want to see her like Haley Williams,try her DECODE. There's a lot of Gigi to choose from, do whatever you may,, they're amazing. Thnx!

She & the band came out with an album of all original music a year ago. The songs are in Tagalog & I think there's one track that is in English. They barely perform or promote their original music, something to do with her management company, long story. They signed her but not the band. At least that's what I've heard. Their album is on Spotify.

Okay.. actually I love so many different genres and stylings... hard rock/ metal, also rap and country.. I love the deeper tones and deep bass sounds within music... open to suggestions!
Her cover of "unholy" then for rock n rap and maybe "hopelessly devoted to you" it's the closest one I could associate with country. Personally I like her "heart to heart" cover by kenny Logins because of my musical preference and...age 🙂

Just one opinion, but I think that a new reactor to Gigi should hold off on Unholy until they appreciate her versatility with songs like Carpenters "I Won't last a Day Without You", Nora Jones "Don't Know Why", Vanessa Carlton "Thousand Miles", and so on. And of course her treatment of "Fly Me to the Moon". Then, after you have a clear picture of what she's like, you are ready for Unholy.
