So, you've discovered cymbal accents on blasts - this one of the ways which a lot of extreme Metal drummers add groove to their playing, it also helps with time keeping as there is a pulse that is easier for everyone to lock into.
Derek Roddy, Flo Mounier and George Kollias are some of my favs that do this.
Darkside from Mgla playing Exercises In Futility V pleaseeeeeeeeeeee, his cymbal work is trance inducing
Very funnnnnnnny hahahahhahaha!I love this guy man!!!!!I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!
Finally :) and love your reaction! Check some other vids, another drum reviewer did some nice vids in the studio.
This is one of my favorite songs.
I studied Jazz guitar for about 7 years but I love playing Black Metal.
It can be tricky depending on what you’re playing exactly but you gotta know what you’re doing most of all.
Drums is probably trickier though.
"Luke Holland - Jason Richardson - 'Tendinitis' Drum Playthrough" would make for a great episode I think! (Sorry if you've already done this one and I missed it)
May be worth mentioning that he plays that double bass with heavy combat boots on. He's insane.
