Hi thanks for the vid… the thing I’m still confused about which doesn’t seem to be explained clearly anywhere regards the woodpile: Once I flip over three cards for the wood pile, I understand that I can only play the top one… but then once the top one’s played am I then allowed to play the one underneath? and then the one under that? until the three are gone… and then I can draw three more for the wood pile? OR Can I only ever play the top one of the three I draw? and even after I play it, if the one underneath is playable, I still must ignore it. I.e. I always must draw another three before playing from the wood pile again?
Whatever card is currently on top of the wood pile may be played. In your example, you played the top card (let’s call it card 1). Next, card 2 is now the top card and is legal to be played. Once card 3 (which started as the bottom card) becomes the top card via card 2 being played, you may play card 3. Additionally, you may add more cards to the wood pile later which may change whether card 3 ever even gets a chance to get played. Maybe it was the top card, but then you added 3 more cards (4-6) on top and now card 4 is the top card.
I am so confused about this game as multiple times I can make no moves, and the wood pile keeps just turning over in 3 cards and the same card is revealed (which I can’t use as it doesnt work on the post or dutch piles) and thus I just can’t make a move??
You place a card one at a time, although rapidly. More than one card from a pile can end up on another, but you can’t place more than one at the same time.
Thank you for explaining the game, but it’s still very confusing.😂
Hope it becomes more clear as you play!
Thank you for explaining this game for me and my wife !
Glad the video was useful to you!

@@BoardAgainGamesthanks so much for clarifying, that’s exactly what I wasn’t sure of !
@@evanmcgregor3758 my pleasure!

Being stuck happens sometimes but when another player lays something down it should help you fairly quickly.
Thank you
Thanks for commenting and watching!
Looks like a simplified version of Nertz
They are related games!
How do I stack in Dutch blitz
Do you mean in the middle?
If you mean in the middle piles, you can stack in ascending order, starting with 1, going up, matching the color below.
If you mean on Post Piles- these go in descending order and Boy/Girl alternating
@@BoardAgainGames Can you place more than 1 card from 1 pile to another?

You speak way too fast. Can't understand much of what you say.
I did add full subtitles to this video if needed too
