Amy does the same thing. They aren't being hypocrites. They are trying to support and . motivate each other while they both make bad decisions. You've never done that with one of your siblings before? I know my family does it all the time. like I could have a terrible boyfriend, then my sister gets a terrible boyfriend and I'm trying convince her she can do better. (That's just an example lol). Being a hypocrite to someone is like judging them when you do the same thing. Nobody's judging here. They love each other and want the best for eachother.

Yeah but that’s the issue that I have personally learned recently in my life..... you can’t rely on that. You can’t rely on motivation and when you “want to do it”. Be Ayse Motivation will only be there like what 5% of the time? The thing that’ll get you to where you wanna be is doing stuff when she doesn’t want to. Forcing yourself to do it. Hopefully she will be okay after all...

what amy is doing is exactly what dieting is, MODERATION. it’s not starving yourself, it’s eating all foods in small portions
Yep. I lost 175 pounds, and it was all about making better choices rather than the “right” choice. The right choice isn’t sustainable, but making a better choice than the worst choice is sometimes all you can do and is better than making the “wrong” choice and completely falling off the wagon.

My nutritionist and doctor have been telling me this for ages 😭 we can eat basically anything we want AS LONG AS ITS IN MODERATION
even better, avoid sugar completely and start fasting. you will find you won't need as much food and save money on groceries

I know right!! They were awful to her with her pregnancy cravings before. Tammy was giddy and made Amy feel so bad she cried. Out of all of them Amy has managed her weight the best, even after having a baby. Let her have cheat meals/ snacks! Everyone needs them.

I see what you’re saying and I can agree. But at the same time, it’s a bit different for Amy or anywhere else in her position. If you just had a surgery to lose weight, and/or you’ve already lost weight, you can’t go back and undo all the work you’ve done and put all the weight or some of the weight back on. Yes, people are going to have cravings during pregnancy, people are going to have cheat meals and there’s nothing wrong with that, but you can’t just have everything you crave, or eat everything you’re craving just because you’re pregnant. In her case it would’ve been healthier for her and the baby to continue losing weight. I don’t think what he said was harsh, but I can definitely see how it could be taken that way by Amy or by us as the audience and viewers. He just doesn’t want her to go back to how she was eating before, he doesn’t want her to gain weight again, he wants her to continue to stay on the diet, continue to lose weight, not undo all her hard work and effort, and overall not have a higher risk of dying. Everything he said was said out of concern for her. He’s just a brother who wants his sister(s) healthy, and to live longer lives.
I love how Amy is being taken to task by her brother and sister....while both being significantly larger and while she's pregnant.
Amy is such a sweet person. She is a lovely mum. She wanted this baby so badly and he is a sweet little fellow.

You're never supposed to lose weight while pregnant, you should be maintaining. The 15 or so gained accounts for the actual baby and the placenta/amniotic fluid.

Being lectured about what you eat by people who themselves are obese is the ultimate irony.
Part of why I think Amy needs to distance herself a little bit. She likes to point out Amy’s issue to deflect the attention from her own obesity. Amy is too nice to her, she needs to be around someone who will not put up with nonsense. It will force her to grow up.

Im pregnant and plus size and i felt it when Amy said, "I wanna enjoy my pregnancy"... it's true being fully aware of my size and trying to manage cravings and having difficulty following my previous eating habits. Sigh. Plus having to deal with the emotional toll pregnancy brings. Sometimes I just want to eat my jerky and nuts and not get chastised for it either lol

I adore Amy. I watched their RUclips channel years ago when they gained traction from people hating on them. While I never loved Tammy I still feel bad for her, but Amy is so absolutely just a shining light of a person. Little things like her trying to use new words she learned but using them wrong proves to me that she's someone who isn't afraid to fail in an effort to better herself mentally and physically. Obviously her weight loss and her having Gage really proves that to be true. I would literally hang out with Amy and Chris, we can play fowling any day with her attitude.
She reminds me so much of the nicer people in my southern family. It makes my heart happy that Amy is getting the life she deserves after many years of abusing herself and being abused by Tammy. Ugh i talked myself into happy tears

They were wrong for having that conversation with Amy like that, back on track? She isn’t splurging or falling completely off the wagon. I know that they want the best for her but they could be a bit nicer about it. In the end she needs to talk to Dr. Proctor and ask him about the snacking and eating craving foods and see what his medical advice for her, as his patient, would be.

My heart goes out to Amy on this one. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant with my first baby. (We waited 10 years for this little miracle.) But I have never been so hungry in my life. I'm trying to be thoughtful with what I eat but it seems that every 3 to 4 hours my stomach is grumbling. I can't imagine adding a food addiction, and a toxic sister into the mix. Those hormones got her crying! 😫 I'm glad she's in a better spot today. To see her cry because she wants to enjoy her pregnancy and baby just breaks my heart.

0:20 "You gotta weigh in tomorrow so we gotta make healthier choices." This line really skirts around Tammy's grave reality that neither her nor her family can stop their unreal habits on a day to day basis. A lot of times when this kind of situation happens where the entire family "is admittedly big," the responsibilities are just shoved under the rug for another day OR until someone wises up and takes the plunge first to show Tammy it's possible. For Tammy this isn't a day to day thing anymore- Her battle will need to be a lifetime of better choices which must start immediately. I hope the family reads these comments because a lot of them aren't disrespectful at all- it's just pointing out the obvious that this woman is suffering majorly, and her situation has not improved. The family is doing nothing better every day by enabling her poor actions. Truth be told, Tammy wouldn't be able to get away with so many poor choices if her family agreed to stop enabling.
I really know that Tammy is the n bad need of losing weight .. Amy needs to also but I can't help but feel sorry for all of them for being used like a circus sideshow. I know they signed up for it but I cry sometimes when I see it. I was always skinned and after 40 I started gaining weight. Got up near 200 lbs. I was so self conscience I became a recluse.. looking back I missed. So much. Highschool reunions. Family get to gethers all kinds of things.. Now I will never have the chance to get it back. yeah well this was a while ago...Amy has had her baby. This was prob like a year ago. Tammy on oxygen now and weighs more. I don't want people to be mean, and i think encouraging her like u are doing is the right choice. It's just that this isn't the case now. She isn't standing up and doing things. She really needs a major reality check.

Tammy looked so happy when she was playing well and her family was encouraging her. Almost made me cry. I wish she'd be nicer to and more appreciative of her family. Especially Amy. Amy is so sweet and loyal. 💙🙏
I love Amy. She seems to be a gentle spirit and the way Tammy treats her is terrible. Chris is just as special for taking care of his sisters, especially when it comes to pushing Tammy around.

awww seeing amy cry like that breaks my heart. being pregnant is not easy on your body or emotions. 1st trimester your sick and puking up evering you eat then when you finally start to feel better you start craving stuff that you cant get off your mind then 3rd trimester your peeing every 5 minutes. go easy on Amy fam i know you mean well...

She got pregnant a few months after surgery when she was told not to, ate things she wasn’t supposed to right after surgery, overeating and using the pregnancy as an excuse, she even said she hasn’t been eating right after she had Gage because she got what she wanted and she’s pregnant yet again after the other doctor told her that she needed to lose more weight.
Tammy needs to take her own advice 😂 “you wanna be around to take care of that baby”….umm tammy you wont even see that baby graduate elementary school.

I loved seeing Tammy up and playing the game. She was so happy. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for her being stuck in the house, unable to go out and have simple fun. It’s hard and depressing I’m sure. I’m proud of her for making the effort. Cute family memories.
But she chooses to not even walk to the mailbox. If she doesn’t want to walk to the mailbox she doesn’t need to be getting up playing around in games. Sure, let her have fun. But don’t cry and whine later that you can’t walk to the mailbox. She just proved she can.
