I normally trade it or give it to family or friend. Apple Trade-ins are really fair most of the time.

I also wish Garmin and Apple would pair up and add the Garmin GPS and battery life (maybe Solar even as an option) capabilities to make an amazing watch. I’d buy that with out considering anything else.
Yeah I looked at the Garmin. My Dive Master uses that one. I am just in the Apple Eco System. I use a Mac, Mackbook pro, Macbook Air, iPhone, etc... so I wanted my watch to just go with me where ever I go including swimming, diving, etc... It's been nice. I dove this weekend in a lake with it and it was just so nice to have. The downside is you have to sync it with Oceanic+ and no other apps are supported yet but with the Ultra 2 we should see that open up some now that it's been used and tested for a year.
Let me know what you decide.
@@Zachus oh yeah that Apple Ecosystem is what my wife got me into haha “it’s easier for me to text you back while I’m on my MacBook Pro and my family got into it too” makes perfect sense but I always have to mess with her about it.
I am most likely now going to wait for the Ultra 2 and I also charge my current series 3 nightly even though the battery “could” last about 2 days and maybe longer if I deactivate most notifications and it sure does make it convenient to control music/podcasts and the speech to text/receiving calls makes things easier. I just wanted a nice Garmin to be different 😆

I have the Ultra with Alpine loop. Best Apple Watch I’ve had. I went with the Ultra because of the features that the other Apple Watches don’t have

i just bought the Ultra 1 today and my dad told me that the new watches are coming out in September which I totally forgot lol. I haven't taken the watch out of the box yet. Do you guys think I should return it and wait for Ultra 2 or just keep the Ultra 1 since probably not a big update? pls help 😭

I still use a Series 3 and now on the fence about the Ultra 2 or a Garmin watch.
My “needs” would be leaning towards the AWU2 but I’d love the battery life of the Garmin and how much more tough they seem to be.
I charge my watch nightly, I have even have a travel charger for the plane and hotel so the battery life hasn't been an issue with me. Ultra 2 will have a longer battery
@@Zachus if they could incorporate more user friendly hiking/travel apps AND a solar charging option on top of a great battery I’m sure Garmin could have a serious competitor in the Apple Watch Ultra line for us hard workers/adventurers. More options for us consumers is always great 👍
WatchOS 10 is a huge step and I think we'll see more apps onboard as the Ultra is really getting adopted by a lot of people. We'll see. Thanks for watching.

the differences will be very small
I think if you have the ultra 1 there is absolutely no point in buying the ultra 2
unless it's just about having the latest of the latest

Most of the new stuff is slight upgrades but you'll see a lot of new cool changes in WatchOS 10

Unless Apple reduce the price hell no $800 yeah the AWU1 was a good margin when it was released I tell people save don’t waste paying full wait discount
There was 2 reasons to get AWU
1. Size
2. Battery 3 days to be exact 👍

I actually agree, but if you’re in the Apple ecosphere like I am, but it just doesn’t make sense of an android watch. My Apple Watch is really some values a lot that I have something they can also go in the pool and in the ocean with me is awesome.
When my iPhone died due to water, Apple told me that Apple Care does not cover water damage. Had to buy a new phone.
That's not true. Ask for a manager. Had a phone go into a pool and fail and they replaced it. Someone just didn't know...
Considering with these idiots just did with iOS 10? Hell no ultra two is not worth the money.
