Super!!! Thank goodness for great people like you! I have a 1976 Alfa Romeo Spider veloce the only reason it is on the road is because all the great beautiful people that work from the heart and they do it as a labor of love!! Heading to get now metal filler “ NO BONDO” guys listen to this expert!!
I agree on the "Never use Bondo " I have never tried the All-Metal product, However I am willing to give it a try . I mostly use body lead and a skim coat of glaze . Here is a little tip for you . when mixing your filler use one spreader to scoop the filler and another to mix. Try using a metal spreader , it will save on materials and less time sanding . Great post , keep up the good work . I cracked up on the don't use Bondo and the camera is focused on a Bondo spreader.
Thanks for the video! I know this video is nearly 4 years old but I still have to say thanks. Though I don't fix cars, I do a lot of arts and crafts & I can see lots of applications for this that I normally use Bondo for. So cool! Thanks, again.
Some people will do, body lead and a skim coat, before laying the top. on this, because the Bondo was already on (was a project I let one of my kids do) I just coated right over the top of it.
Have u try other product all purpose putty by Bondo in a can two parts mix? I saw one at Home Depot not sure if it is glaze putty . I am trying all kind of products. Not all bondo is bad like polyester eastwood bondo.
I want to fill in the indented lettering on a 54 chevy truck bumper. If I use the USC product, can the bumper be chromed? It is powder coated presently.
I'm looking to use this stuff to fill in a small dent that I can't get out in a motorcycle gas tank. Is it safe to apply allot of this at once or will it crack like bondo?
Don't use cardboard for a mixing board!! It has wax imbedded in it. Don't be a tightass, buy a mixing board. Bondo is a brand name. There is nothing wrong with a quality filler. This metal filler is super pricey.
Idk about all metal. The only metal in it is aluminum dust. So your practically using body filler with aluminum dust in it and putting that on a steel vehicle. As we know steel and aluminum react

Niice ride you have. Alfa is indeed a smooth car. Keep the vintage stuff on the roads.

Using the spreader is one thing.. I won't use there product ever again.. but let me know, what you think of the product.
I will if I can ever get caught up here at the shop. In the middle of two high end builds , Buick Grand National GET and a 70 Chevell Street Frighter.
Don't let the name all-metal fool you it is absolute crap it will crack in time it has no flexibility

Thank you for checking it out and commenting. I'm happy it worked for you.
I wouldn't spread it over bondo, Metal to metal for better adhesion,
Thanks for the videos I'm about to order some of this stuff, I was told it works great if you are powdering coating which I will be doing
I like that idea never thought of applying it over the bondo.

Currently trying All Metal on aluminum boat pontoons. Hoping it works as good as everyone says it does.....
Let me, and others know how it worked out for you.
Well did it work?

I have powder coated over this, and so far, not had issues.
But I wonder if it can chromed. I want to change from a pwdr coat to chrome when the letters are filled in. Great videos by the way.
They have a Q&A section on the USC site. you should, be able to get the answer thru it.

And thank you, for the compliment.

OddFellow Jack Ello Jack,
I've never applied it thick. only as you see here.
I suppose there is only one way to find out then
Dynaglass would be perfect for that

Yes it is pricey. and for filler, getting what you paid for makes a huge difference. and I only used the cardboard for the demo.
What metals are in it?
Good review. You kinda look like The Big Show from WWF/ WWE
