    No one talks about how the asvab is difficult to take after you graduate high school because you forget everything you were taught. They should make all high schoolers take the ASVAB just like they do for the ACT

      I completely agree. We naturally brain dump half the information we have when we get our diplomas lol but it should be a mandatory test for at least juniors in high school while the information is fresh!

      Not true technically I been out of School for 30 year's. and many of the Subjects I remember some things. also when a person want's something they have too push themselves... example I'm schedule too take the Asbav in 4 week's and I been studying daily 1 hour Morning, and Afternoon usually I have a nootebook and write the answers and memorize them. and I have seen my WK and PC and Math getting better.

  • @campagnollo
    @campagnollo 5 месяцев назад +26

    I'd say focus on the AFQT components of the test; Arithmetic Reasoning. Math Knowledge, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension. This is what qualifies you for the respective service. But also indirectly, could make it easier to select a job you want. Say you want to go into a electronics field. If you can do well on the AR and MK portions of the test, you can perform mediocre on the electrical test and still make a reasonably high grade in electronics.

Got 34 on my test which I’m not that proud of but after my verification test I got 35 which is my final asvab score. But I’ve heard if you choose a job then later try it again while you are serving you won’t lose the job even if you fail and the highest score counts as your final score. So I will just take what ever job I get and try again for asvab.

    Kinda sad n messed up on the comments in this video. I’ve personally had life changes. But my first time taking the Asvab at 19yo on a practice test was a 67. First off ppl learn different no matter where ur from. These comments are so ignorant. I’ve first hand experience ppl from across the country(USA) in different jobs tht don’t knw how to write or read but some how understand or have a large vocabulary. Worked with ppl tht are old fashioned math. Tht still count on fingers for multiplication, their knuckles for the months, n compare the rule n money version. At the end of the day ppl who say “oh but it’s basic knowledge” not everyone learns the same. So learn to understand or be respectful. Cause one day someone is going to be in ur shoes saying the same bout you.

      Just take the next week to sit down and spend 45 minutes to an hour every day to study some arithmetic ! You’ve got this! Have you ever taken the Asvab before?
