The design and construction of this nice piece has done justice to the original Schofield model. Not sure how the cast metal will stand up, but it's a joy to see, handle and shoot and the price is right!
The metals very good, it's not the cheap pot metal of the toy guns we had as kids. But its not as strong as the real steel, ( I've seen idiots thinking they can convert them to shoot real rounds not realisng they will be lucky to just get away with losing only a hand ). They're sturdy fun.
Hi, lt does have a rifled barrel. I've also looked at the Webley Mk6 with a smooth bore and I think it was just as good. Possible the same manufacturer, who knows.
@@RealAirgunAdventures I believe there's 2 versions of this Schofield one by Barra, and the one l have ASG, mines got a smooth bore but handles bbs better than pellets,, l broke the inner barrel on mine the spring loaded seal that comes out to meet the cylinder wont come back out of its place thereby decreasing the air pressure behind the round, but its still ok for plinking cans and such, were never going to get precision shooting with these guns because of how the co2 reacts differently with each shot, but they are great to look at and feel in your hand and to be able to shoot a can off a wall is the icing on the cake. I have 2 Webley VIs one in 177 and 1 in 22.. Theres a problem with them tho l also had another 3 Webley VIs and each one started leaking and gushing co2 after just a few co2 bulbs, l never leave the bulb in l put it in the gun with a spot of pelgun oil, and have a firing say 30 mins with a couple of bulbs then its out with the bulb right away, but still they leak my 177 is away being repaired, been waiting 3 weeks or more so far, but l dont have faith in it lasting long when it comes back, the other 3 broke again the first time l changed the bulb, but l love the look n feel of the gun so l percivered with them, so faar the 22s holding up but then I've only fired 3 bulbs in it. Can't understand how they can make such a beautiful detailed gun but not get the seals right.?
@@RealAirgunAdventures You've definitely got good taste in Guns , I like the Webley service revolvers as well... used to think I was Indiana Jones as a kid lol. looking forward to seeing it mate 👍
That's about 10 mtrs, I generally test pistols at that. I've just done 15 mtrs with a moving target, same gun. That will be up soon. I've heard good things about the Bear River version. AGS / Wing Gun make brilliant well engineered co2 replicas.
@@RealAirgunAdventures 10 meters is the ideal distance for these guns, the accuracy drops the further you take them 15 metres is a little to far, but kudos for managing it impressive.. 🤗

All of the above. Thanks for your comment Sam 👍

Good video. With pellets it's suprisingly accurate, not having a rifled barrel.

I have a Schofield & it is definitely smooth bore even though the box is marked pellet & the cartridges are for pellets.
I brought the BB version just last week, no pellet version in stock, what a handful , love her to bits, cometh the gun, cometh the kid.
It is a great pistol. Glad you like it.
HOWDY from TEXAS, very informative video, thanks for posting...
Howdy, thanks for watching. 👍
Very impressive Revolver.. love the spins during the vid as well mate 👌
It's a great six shooter, I've got a webley service revolver coming soon. I probably won't be spinning that one.

How far were you shooting from? Would like to see a comparison review between this and the Bear River version.

Is that a Merrell single shot on your wall?
Hi, I'm afraid not. I can see why you ask, though. It's a modified Crossman 2240, an old one now. Thanks for watching.
Can you fan fire this?
In theory, yes. Co2 cools rapidly. The faster you shoot, the lower the power.
@@RealAirgunAdventures I will keep that in mind when I get mine, soon. Thank you for the reply.
@@biggusdickus5986 Great informative answer. Thankyou 👍
If I had one of those it would defo bring out the big kid in me. I wouldn't be able to put it down. ATB MMMD
I'm thinking of buying a quick draw rig to go with it 😁
น่าสะสมมากครับ
Thanks 👍
