    I went to school with Charlie Justras’ son, Chuck. We bowled together at the old Riverside Park Lanes in Agawam. Chuck was a good bowler, like his dad, but more importantly a great kid!

    This was an episode which was heavily mentioned on WGGB TV 40 in Springfield days before it aired.

    Charlie was as tough as they came. He was really good in qualifying and head to head bowling. Mr Cool out there on the lanes. Look how he stays cool after Tom threw that 4 bagger.

    I started watching Don Gillis Channel 7 or 5 WHDH since 1970, well I quite recall the call letters. If you ask me Charlie owned the 1970s and of course Tom owned the 1980s. I can't imagine all the money Tom O has accumulated in all the years he's bowled on TV.

    Jeesh 4 striikes gets him 159 with no other marks in that string. Imagine if he gets 2 or 3 more marks.

    • @williamdunphy352
      @williamdunphy352 3 года назад +1

      The rules for marks were:
      $50 for three marks in a row, and $50 for every mark thereafter in the string. For three strikes in a row, $1,000. Plus $1,000 for every consecutive strike in the string thereafter.
