Hey everyone, hope you're all safe. Couple words from the UKF team:
Given everything that's going on in the world, especially in America, we feel that we can't just bury our heads in the sand and carry on as normal from our London offices.
Yesterday’s social media blackout was an overwhelming reminder how many of us stand in solidarity with the #blacklivesmatter movement. Now it’s time to move forward with the next steps and further educate ourselves.
We spent the day reflecting, researching and assessing our own role in all of this, and were reminded we have a lot of work to do ourselves and are having internal discussions how we can address some of these issues on an industry level.
First and foremost, education is key. We have compiled a few links that may interest those wondering how they can support the movement and educate themselves further via the link at the bottom of this comment.
If your first reaction to all of this is “ALL lives matter”, please spend some time researching what the current issue is about.
