9:14 that was my introduction to PC gaming. Such a great game for a 12 year old. I'll never forget the day when King Graham joined John Lennon and Roger Waters as my life's heroes. A freaking imaginary character 😅
Then I must be a genius, because I remember putting in those floppy disc by myself and typing in the commands for me to be able to play those old classic games. This was back when I was 5-10 years old. Then I'd say when I turned 20 I downloaded DOSbox I somehow still new the commands after a good 10 years of never using them or DOS itself. I'd say that is probably because I played a shit ton when I was 5-10 years old. Forget the consoles, those floppies were my childhood.
I know I'm 4 years late. But the song is called Visual Creation by Che Kropp. It is on Spotify and such. It is on youtube and currently has 1 view! hah. You can be the second!
PC is still vastly superior in every way when playing video games even G4 REALLY met their demise between starting 2015 & November 18th 2022. There's just one thing: there is an TV Error led to freeze timestamp between 12:16 & 13:01 Still, this video is amazing. i'd take Windows PC🖱⌨🖥/Laptop💻 over Smartphones and Consoles any day.
PC gaming will always be more POWERFULL and i repeat POWERFULL then console gaming..which is PC hardware to begin with, but with lower power.. PC is always steps ahead of the console hardware market..
Sasuke Uchiha more expensive? Hmm with consoles how much do you have spend on each brand new games? To controllers, to other sort of accessories? With PC its a investment to which can last for a long time and not only that, but you can do how many more tasks with PC vs Consoles?
I always stick with one controller with is the one that comes with the system. As for accessories aren't much and you can get away getting cheaper stuff. I play PC gaming and system gaming so I'm not coming off bias. But for starters with Pc gaming the games get more demanding each year graphic wise just for you to pay min settings. With games you pay the same with pc and systems so not sure why you bring that up. Just for upgrading your computer each year just for the demand of a game can be 100-200 a year just on parts. With a console which an example of what the ps3/360 showed you can give you 10yrs of gaming just for 200-400 dollars. Good look getting a computer that can play your teir 1 games for all of 10yrs. With systems everyone is on equal setting compared to computers which pvp wise helps a lot. So yea
Sasuke Uchiha PC gaming isn't more expensive, it just cost more to get invested in, it can BECOME more expensive if you turn it into a hobby... Do you know what it takes to kick a console, a simple pentinum anniversary, cheap mobo, GTX750ti, 500gb HDD, 8GB ramstick wireless card cheap ol power supply, find a case at a pawn shop and there, little bit more than a console, but better than a console You say oh but you gotta buy a monitor... Yeah well you have to buy a TV for a console.... You have to buy a keyboard and mouse... I can get both for cheaper than a controller and have enough to get a decent set of speakers and a proper DVI cable You gotta buy an OS... for cheaper than what you spend for a years worth of consoles online services You don't have to play everything on ultra. I'm running on a Q6600, GTX465 and 4GB of ram, 6+ years old and still running perfectly, playing Advanced Warfare on the same graphic fidelity as an Xbox 360, playing it side by side mine is still smoother 60fps 1080p compared to the 720p sub60fps on the 360, and I haven't even overclocked it yet. Consoles are a little cheaper at the start, yet with the price of games and online services comes out more expensive, PC's just cost a little more to invest in, but come out leaps and bounds cheaper with steam sales and cd-key sale sites, ability to pirate games that aren't sold on PC gaming services like Steam or Origin, backwards compatibility waaaay back to the 90's, emulation, cheaper to repair if something needs to repair, a more in depth community, and so on, just so much more worth the little extra to invest in
"IBM launched a new pc" wrong, IBM launched THE PC, they where the first to call that Personal Computer and use that concept, before that they where called home computers because they where too expensive to think of them as something personal, like a wrist watch.
TBH the PC was even more expensive than the Apple back then, it was the IBM clones that finally made the term Personal Computer to make a little bit more sense, since they where way cheaper, or more powerful at a good price, than any other computer.
Get your facts right! Win95 and DirectX sucked! Crashes and Bluescreens all the time! It was DirectX 8 ... EIGHT!!!! that started working barely stable on Windows 2000... And DOS was stable like hell, so a lot of games like "Full throttle" were still running on DOS when Win95 was out...
Having this on in the background while doing other stuff I thought my internet crapped out at 12:16
It's been the same amount of time between the 80s and this episode compared this episode and now.
i love that you guys uploaded the rest of season 2. appreciate the memories!
Built my first PC in 2006 and never looked back to conventional gaming.
The BFG fired so powerful, it froze the video for a minute.
People have always said PC gaming is dying. Nowadays it's more popular than it's ever been.
Wonder what they have to say about the RTX 3080.
It was quite a moment when you finally figured out how to get a seemingly incompatible game to work on dos.
this serie is awesome really i love

Kids today can scarcely imagine doing games described in the program or trying to get them before Amazon or Internet.
Up next, 6 back to back episodes of Cops.
Sad reacts only
With 2 episodes of Cheaters, 2 episodes of Campus PD, followed by an all new AOTS and X-Play after that.
4:09 it's like steam greenlight indie game developers existed before internet

Awesome!

+fpshooterful Tell that to the Dreamcast.
it's supposed to be subliminal nostalgia of how programs would freeze, right?
12:17 -> 13:00... WTF? But... very cool video and it brings back a few memories.
