Glad you liked it! Yes, I think it's great to see more open source in consumer hardware. It offers premium type functionality on budget cost hardware.

I just got mine about 3 weeks ago, got a240W/ PD 3.1 charger for it so I can connect to 28V, the only complain I have is the 5.5x2.5 barrel jack outlet on the back of it, I wish it was the more common size (5.5x 2.1), I ordered the larger barrel jack for it but the barrel was too short and kept coming off and disconnecting, now I'm planing to order the longer barrel (although I most often use a USB C cable and never had any issue with it coming off) . the barrel jack can be used with any old fashion 24 Volt charger.

Congratulations on getting one. Yes, I've been fine with the USB socket - but it is important (reminder to myself, too) to label that USB-B cable and charger as a fast charger. The lower spec cables and chargers often look the same, but will fail to power the device. Just realising now, this device may be a great way to test if a USB-C cable is actually a high power one!

Just over £54 in UK! I wonder if the price will come down over time.

That's a bit over priced! May be worth looking around as I saw it as cheap as $35 recently. Even with shipping, it may be cheaper for you - it is very small and light to ship. Their Wiki page listed a few authorised sources, and I think one of those was less than I paid.

@@GadgeteerZA Thank you for your advice. The problem is this: £54 on UK Amazon including delivery. From the Pine website it is currently $26 + $17 postage +20%VAT on the overall total at UK end, plus whatever the customs decide to add to it, and often a very long wait. It was so much hassle buying a book from USA that I won't buy anything from there again. Some USA suppliers refuse to post to UK since leaving the EU. Even EU don't like dealing with UK any more! I like to know how much I am going to pay in total before I pay for it. It's even more of a nightmare since we left EU because there is sometimes similar problems buying from EU. I'll wait to see if there will be any other suppliers in UK. Maybe someone will buy a bulk order from USA to sell here. I'm sure that would be more cost effective.
