Hey, Corrine! My SA did not directly mention that it is a leather's appointment or some bag might be offered to me. He just told me when to come back and see him, and I was offered a bag on that day. I heard that it is very rare to be offered a bag without a leather's appointment online these days but can possibly happen :) I think I was lucky enough just to be offered an appointment.
